We really enjoyed this drive-in, under the stars, but we parked too far away, and the screen wasn't as big as we thought and its right next to a noisy highway so you have to use your radio to hear it. The popcorn and foods were a little expensive, and they charge a $1 extra per card transaction. But overall, we had a great time.
I'm from Texas and I love anything outdoor, of course going here was high on my list. Very nice people, amazing prices, great selection of food, snacks, drinks, deserts, and gifts.. FYI advil, hand radios in concession stand. It was such a great time. Definitely should go. Funnel cakes were so fresh and good.
Love it! Went there as a kid now I take my grandkids! Can't beat the price. Great food and movies.
Went to see Sounds of Freedom with my baby sister Tammy. Was a fun night even though her car battery died, the owner jumped us immediately so we didn't miss anything! Yeehaw!
Love this place! Love the Drive-in. It is a great way to watch movies in the outdoors or in your vehicle with the family!
Cleaner than most. Nice grass field for kids to play in before the movie starts. Great atmosphere.
Tonight was my first time at this particular drive-in. The retro movies were good, the screen is a little smaller than most other drive-ins but no big deal. The noise from the highway can be pretty loud. Very few people here are wearing masks to prevent Covid-19 transmission, especially the ticket sellers one might be the owner not sure and people inside the concession stand, which made me feel not so safe in there buying food. If your going to be an alternative to indoor theatres then enforce the mask mandate with customers especially inside the concession stand. Otherwise, indoor theatres should be open. Also, if you drive a large vehicle don't be an idiot and park in front of a small vehicle that's stupid. I saw it happen tonight. Overall, I might come back depending on the movies playing as long as I don't leave my vehicle.
Help Save the Drive-ins visit here! This is the Best Drive-in South of Bloomington, parking is plentiful and there is a nice lawn up front to throw down a blanket. Bring a portable speaker with a FM tuner to 88.7 or listen on your car stereo. I prefer to back the truck in and watch from the bed in the front row. Bring bug spray in early summer. PRO tip* learn how to control your headlights before the show starts. You don't want to be that car whose lights came on in the middle of the show when you opened the car door.
Had a great time with Porsche Parade Gimmick Rally ending there. Good eats and great modern projector. Loved the opening shorts!!
This a great place for a date night or a family fun night! Prices are reasonable for movie admission and for the concessions. $9 adult for 2 movies? Ummmm....YES! $7.50 for huge tenderloin sandwich & fries, comparable to the county fair food price. My family and I have been here several times over the past 5 years and will continue as long as they are open!
