My stay didn't start out well and this review could be a lot different if not for Jessica at the front desk. I checked in for a staycation for my wife's birthday but the card reader on my door didn't work, which was on the 4th floor. 4 times I went down with my wife waiting, however, Jessica did turn the situation around by having a sincere attitude and taking the proper steps to make us whole and then some. We appreciate her effort. The breakfast was great and so was the service and the room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Food & drinks: On premise restaurant with bar. Food is delicious!
My husband and I just stayed here for the second time in the last few months and we are just blown away by how nice it is staying here. The room is always clean and comfortable, the staff are lovely, and the breakfast you can get with breakfast vouchers is a perfect way to start the day. We also definitely took advantage of the shuttle they have to get us to and from the airport and to and from our fertility appointments. We will definitely be staying here in the future any time we may need to come back to Colorado Springs.
Stayed here due to the close proximity to the COS Airport. Was going to use the shuttle service but it is only available M-F, 9am - 4pm which makes it worthless for early morning travel. The property has aged and needs plenty of updates. The sidewalks and parking lot is full of cracks and holes making luggage pulling difficult. The hallway to our room smelled. The room was okay. Bathroom was either stained or dirty. The pool was out of commission and the water cooler in the workout room was too. It was sufficient for our brief stay but I would NOT stay her again nor would I recommend it. On the bright side, the lady who check us in was very nice and apologetic and the pool being out of commission.
Front desk was patient, friendly and helpful. Room was 100% clean, and it has everything needed, including the ability to charge all devices. Bar downstairs is really nice. If I were a local, I'd hang out with the bartender here. She put hockey on for me, great conversation, food is good, my whiskey and beer were local craft. I travel alone, and this feels like a safe, clean place. Rooms: I'll stay here again Safety: Well lit Food & drinks: Yummy Noteworthy details: Convenient
I went to check in this evening and they informed me that there is a problem with their hot water. No one in the hotel has hot water. They had just called someone to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately I had booked the room using points. The front desk initially refused to help me and told me I would have to contact customer service to get a reservation at another IHG hotel, despite the fact there was a HI Express next door!! Using the app I attempted to get a resolution through the chat option. That was totally pointless. I finally went back to the front desk to ask for a refund of my points, and documentation that they would be refunded. Initially the desk clerk told me to cancel my reservation, but I asked her to go into the system and document a refund of points. She gave me a hand written cancellation number, which I hope will result in a refund of the points.
