We were moving in our daughter and decided to stay the night to keep from driving 4.5 hrs back home after a long day. We chose the Holiday Inn as they have always been a solid place to stay and was close by. The good...Room was clean and check in easy. The BAD... arrived around 9:30pm after a very long day packing kid into dorm. Went to take relaxing shower.... nope the shower head was stopped up and barely sprayed enough water to get you wet and you couldn't adjust it. So no relaxing shower. Laid down in one of the hardest beds I have ever laid in only to hear the people above us that sounded like they were coming through ceiling. Called the office at 10:30pm because they were so loud and they did nothing. So I had to beat on the ceiling to finally get them to stop so we could go to sleep. So after tossing and turning in the sh!?ist bed ever, I got up at 5:30am exhausted to go get a shower and roll out asap only to be reminded how terrible the shower was again! There was no coffee in the roomonly tea so had to go downstairs to the lobby to get a cup of coffee only for it to look like tea and taste like city water. Of all the Holiday Inns we have stayed at this was by far the worst experience ever and will not stay there again.
Staff was very rude multiple times to several different people including me and my coworkers. Very rude and disrespectful when we asked if we could get them to unlock the stairwell doors on bottom floor after power had been out for 45 mins to a hour. Also they booked our rooms wrong and our rooms was never cleaned beds maid up or fresh towels after we asked repeatedly to have fresh towels and beds maid. My opinion there’s a lot of new staff that do not know how to do there jobs. Would not recommend anyone to stay there anytime soon..
Great hotel, but very disappointed with the African American lady serving breakfast. She seems to be very angry for no reason and did not enjoy her company at all!! Mia however was wonderful at breakfast,therefore I am leaving a better score. Besides that good hotel overall.Rooms: 4/5
