Don't waste your money because it's probably easier to sleep in your car. Almost every aspect of this motel is sketchy. First, at check in they'll took a photo copy of my driver's license and credit card and did so for incidentals. And while I understand why this is done, they seem to be rather disorganized and I am concerned about the safety of my information. Now, I was at the hotel because my school booked that hotel. If I am left to decide, I will never go to this motel again. Let me move onto the room. I was in an upstairs room in the main building. The moment I cracked the door there was a tremendous odor. I was told it's a smoking room and that's all they had available. There was only a few pieces of furniture. The bed was uncomfortable, the sheets had various stains I think one had blood, and there were visible cigarette burns on most of the bedding. There are two nightstands and one table, but no chairs. Zero chairs. Not a single place to sit down, because of the no chairs thing. I asked the first night and was told they would bring one up, but it never happened. I asked on the second day and by the time I was packing on my third day they finally delivered a nearly broken chair. The mini fridge didn't work. The toilet requires multiple flushes. The sink drain stays closed unless you reach under and manually hold it open. Then there's just the lack of attention to detail once you look closer. Screws randomly placed on the door and sticking out to destroy clothing, stains on carpet, lack of towels in shower area. Again, if given the choice, I'll never go back.
it's really a shame, because the location is great and the room seemed promising at first. however, the second night of our stay we found 2 roaches in our room when we returned and watched others enter the room as we tried to settle down for the night. we ended up leaving early and finding other accommodations. the reception was kind and apologized to us. I'm not sure how the roaches get in - could be the door because it has a gap between it and the floor. there were roaches in the parking lot right outside our room, especially near a garbage can.
Loud!!!!! Extremely loud. Run down At 6AM, a lady knocked on my door and was extremely aggressive telling me I did not pay for my room. I said I did she kept saying I didn’t then I had to offer her to see the receipt. She never even asked. I gave it to her and she came back looking silly. She could have called the employee that was on shift when I checked in to check. LOCATION IS OVERPRICED. I would definitely never stay here again.
I was only here at this location because of a hood friend and turns out I actually like the layout and the rooms are as decent as they should be for it’s standardRooms: 4/5
It’s a miracle this hotel is still standing, I’m afraid that if the wind blows a little too hard it may take the entire thing apart. It is outdated, dirty, in a bad location; why would anyone consider staying here? Rooms: Disgusting Safety: Not very safe Noteworthy details: It looks like it’s literally falling apart.
Cheapish rooms. Nice staff, hot local boys…. Errr, I’m mean a rich and storied cultural history pervades this small corner of Los Angeles.Rooms: 3/5
It was alright but the office doesn't take cash n only accepts cards with a chip, if not paying online..... which completely screwed me over, forcing me to check out when trying to extend my stayRooms: 2/5
At 3am I couldn't get inside the hotel. All entries were locked. The very next day the supervisor seemed to understood how critical situations like these are but no matter how polite and professional is someone some things are beyond words... The rooms are below average. The neighborhood is relatively nice. The doors are not safe. Be aware of your belongings. The closest Metro station is 18 minutes within walking distance and 4 minutes by using a vehicle It is close to Los Angeles downtown but you have to use a car to visit anything.
Besides the rooms being egregiously overpriced but the manager came and started yelling at me and a couple friends who are off property standing on the other side of the fence after leaving a friend's hotel room there and only stopping in for a couple minute he proceeded to ask who wanted to take responsibility and ask him what the meaning was behind that he refused to say so I went to the office with them and the video he showed me was just as some people leaving the hotel room and that is why he was yelling at us. Very unprofessional, aggressive, poor communication, not honest, and verbally assaulted me and carried a gun he proceeded to put on after he said he needed to go to the upstairs room.
I booked a room here last night it was by far most the worst experience of my life The first room I checked into the room floor was stained and it looked disgusting then I went to use the bathroom and the sink was leaking water everywhere So I went to the front desk and had him put me in another room and in that room the TV wasn’t working in the floor is still look disgusting. So he puts me in a third room Which honestly looks better but still it looked nasty and then on top of that at night time the roaches came out and we’re crawling on my belongings I packed up and I left don’t waste your money 9/25/22
