Very welcoming staff. HPSC offers a wide variety of activities and classes. I'm taking an advanced Spanish class and I play Rummicub in the afternoon with a group of mostly Spanish-speaking people, a great opportunity to practice Spanish conversation. There's a cafe that offers sandwiches, salads, cookies, snacks and beverages at reasonable prices.
My Mom loves coming here. They have classes in everything from foreign language to art to dancing. Nice indoor gym and outdoor workout area. They have computers labs and printers, and a nice cafe as well. My Mom loves walk-in bridge every Friday at 1:00. Easy access via metro bus. A godsend for seniors in our area.
Brought my parents here in hopes of having them join. The South American, Chilean man gave us a tour and was extremely helpful and informative?
Nice place to socialize, shoot pool, do a session on the treadmill, take a class, play cards, just a whole lot of things to do for us seniors. Recommended!
I participate in a senior camera club at Holiday Park. All levels of camera skills welcome. First and Third Weds. 10am to 12 noon. Noncompetitive image sharing and day trip photo excursions. ocvadipnal
I just started taking a watercolor class and signed up to become a volunteer. I just finished my first day as a volunteer and it was a really a lot of fun and the people who attend the center seem to be part of a true community of spirit so I really like it
Great craft room for a sewing class offered through Montgomery Rec program. There's also a room with 6 or 7 keyboards for piano lessons. I eventually decided, however, to stick with private lessons.
Pleasant and welcoming to seniors with live music, dances, a dining room, gift shop and activities and classes. I took my mother there.
Senior hang out ! Lots of activities, lunch, gym, clinic, Senior Connection located behind the center . Staff was helpful and well informed. A great place for seniors !
