An RV park. Long term and short. With docks, a very nice Cafe and some recreational facilities. This park has been here a long time. Some RVs are old, never to be moved. There are many brand new units, like "tiny homes" being installed. It is gated, a person greets every entrant then raises the entry gate.Location: 4/5
From the moment we pulled in, the experience was awesome. 24hr manned front entrance keeps the riff raff out. We checked in on Thursday and checked out Monday. The park was mostly empty because the snowbirds have already left. Everyone else that are residents were very gracious, unlike other places we have been to where they hated the weekenders and wouldn’t even look our way. The grounds were well taken care of and the restrooms and showers were spotless. This did not happen here. There was plenty of extra activities to do like miniature golf, bocci ball, pickle ball, horseshoes, indoor and outdoor pool to name a few. The restrooms and showers were spotless. We didn’t bring our dogs this time, but next time we will bringing them and our pontoon! Forgot to mention they have awesome dog washing areas with warm water. Thank you for a great experience! Nearby activities: Lots to do - check out their website! Safety: 24hr manned entrance. Food & drinks: The have a Cafe. We didn’t try it but there were a lot of people there that looked like they enjoyed it.
Visited my mother for a weeks vacation from Michigan. Very lovely park. Personal is very nice and polite. Bathhouses and laundry are phenomenal. From a visit from a soon to be 55 and older, this park raised my eyebrows to a good possible place to be retired to. Thank you, for a really good experience. Some parks are very snooty to the young people possible future customers visiting family, but this park was amazing.
Would love to review personal time spent here but maybe next year. Toured to park and it's gorgeous, hopefully next year I'll make this my home, till then I can't say enough about Christine! Amazing lady, kind and patient. Staff is kind, and so helpful. Dont stay away find this resort and gall in love as I did. Nearby activities: Local to everything Plus full activities onsite Safety: Gated and on staff Food & drinks: On site restaurant
Absolutely perfect for long term stays. The staff were accommodating and flexible when asking for a longer stay, site change and processing final payment. The facilities were always in great condition and worked well for our wheelchair needs. These included ADA compliant bathhouses and the paved roads and the sites that are partially cement. There are several activities daily and well organised. The residents are friendly and made us feel like we were part of the community. The indoor and outdoor pools and indoor hot tub were also nice amenities. The only negative was that these amenities were not accessible for a person in a wheelchair. We will be back and look forward to booking our 4 month stay next winter as soon as the booking window opens.
Rv’ers BEWARE: I was here for 10 days spring 2022, decided for the 550$ price it was a good central location for things I wanted to do and friends. Waited for their price increase, sent application, received email confirmation in Aug with 500$ deposit and balance due. Go to check in on Dec 30th and they wanted to jump my price 200$ a month!! Approx 35% increase. Started off on a bad foot for sure. They only take check or cash, probably because cc will honor their contract, and refunded their money and they are sketch not taking cc and making it convenient for a 4 month stay. Every time I had to go pay my rent, there was quite a wait and hassle about my rent due! I am a landlady for 32 years, you don’t take a deposit and application, send invoice/confirmation and raise rent on move in day!!! Not friendly ppl at all in the park. Would go to the pool and it was if I were invisible! I was a stylist for 45 years, I am use to ppl talking to me all the time, wherever I go. I think I had short conversations with 5 people in the 4 months I was there. My lot was cleaner/cleaned of debris only once and I had to request it!! They put in a “work order guy came and made 3 huge piles with his blower and left them at the end of both sides of my lot until I AGAIN had to go and ask for it to be removed!! Girl in the office said “yeah I saw that” then why was it not taken care of??? Was a shady spot, stuck in between permanent homes! All 3 neighbors said hi the first day and never spoke to me again, one neighbor that I was so close to her home we could pass coffee to each other, spoke to me a few times. My Rv and Jeep were covered/stained from all the debris falling from the trees. Cats roamed about the campsite, peeing everywhere and I am allergic to cats! NO INTERNET, you can pay for cable No fire pits. Pool: one small pool with 30 lounge chairs and 30 chairs for 936 lots! Loud, obnoxious, off key music played a couple times a week! Never even got in the pool because the clique group of ppl that made a circle at the steps as if you weren’t invited into their little group of snotty ppl. Was absolutely the worst place I have stayed and now their monthly rate is almost 1k a month, this is not an Rv friendly park and definitely not worth their cost! Sirens going off all day, loud road noise. Will not come back again for sure!! A couple hundred $ more and you can stay at brand new campgrounds with fire pits and live entertainment every weekend, with friendly campers, paved lots, 5g Wifi and garbage pick up at your site! They don’t like seasonal ppl here imho.
Very large park, with over 900 sites. Good paved interior roads, albeit narrow roads. All staff were extremely courteous and helpful, and so were the residents. Before I could complete setup, two residents had offered to help in different ways. Many of the sites have some shade and have patios. Dumpsters nearby and so are bath houses. Would definitely return.
Just bought our home here in March. So far everyone is very friendly and the community is lovely.Rooms: 5/5
We wintered here as an RVer for the 21-22 season. We have a very large fifth wheel and the office staff Christine worked with us to find a spot that would comfortably fit our site. While the roads were narrow, we had no problems parking our rig. The site was quite large and located in West 3, which we loved. At the end of our stay we were lucky enough to find a park model that we loved and bought. We've met many wonderful people who also came as RVers and bought as well. We enjoy all the activities that are offered and participate in many. We've made some wonderful friends and look forward to our time here. While no park is perfect, we love Holiday RV Village and look forward to many years here.
Not a hotel Rv park & permanent homes. Great place. Mom has had a place here 23 years Snow bird
