SC Laundromats is a family run business with 2 stores operating in the Akron area: Downtown Laundromat (S. Main St.) and Holland's 24 Hour Laundromat (S. Arlington St.).

Description

Family-run self-service coin-operated laundromat with many large washers and dryers, lots of folding space, fully attended, free WiFi, and a clean and friendly atmosphere.

Machinery on property includes: 14 Single Load (Top Load) Washers, 13 Double Load Washers, 11 Triple Load Washers, 9 Five Load Washers (50 pounds), 3 Eight Load Washers (80 pounds), 2 Nine Load Washers (90 pounds), 42 Dryers, and 4 Extractors.

Laundromat machinery was very efficient and quick. Only complaint was the cleanliness of bathrooms
Order building but all the machines were nice and clean people using the machines were all nice overall is a pleasant experience
Is it possible to have so much fun in a laundry mat? They play nice classic rock, and I sing along loudly as my clothes wash. The aqustics are nice in there. It's a reasonable price for 2 loads of laundry. I may not buy a washer and dryer for my home. The staff is always pleasant. I noticed the owner bought several brand new washers I'll try those soon. I also found it cool that he has some vintage washers in pastel colors from the 60s like me. Guess I'm vintage too. Only thing that would make my grade of an A to an A+ is if he offered coffee with real milk, because there are no shops around here. A young lady was here with her grand-father and she had everything except detergent. They were talking about walking to Dollar Gen, and I interviewed and gave my full bottle of precious Tide. They both really appreciated it. They had about 5 loads of clothes, me barely . I truly believe God works thru all of us. Right On!!
Nice place not to expensive washes and dryes clothes good.
place is always closing hours early or doors will be locked 3 hours till close with people inside and no explanation. place smells / feels like grease and has a foul smell. Mgmt is rude.
My favorite place to do laundry. It may not be the fanciest laundry mat around but there is always a friendly person working there in case you have any issues. The price of the washers and dryers are better than any other nearby laundry mats and the dryers dry pretty darn fast. I would rather go to this laundry mat than to pay twice as much at another place so they can look nicer. the customers are paying for the place to look nice Yet there is no one working at those places, no music, and no friendly faces. No thanks. Ill keep going to Hollands. Thank you!
They don't let you dry here unless you wash here. Lol
I love the fact it is close to where I live and the owner M or and attendant are always pleasant and very helpful. I love the extractors because they do help cut drying time down. I always let people and friends know what laundry mat I use and why. This is the only laundromat I use unless for some reason it may be closed on that particular day. Was there today 9/28/2022 and used one of the new washer and it is amazing. Friendly staff. Love it.
