This is a bit of an odd review, in that I did not end up using their services... My Dad passed and my Mom was certain that she had a pre-need contract with Holloway. I'm not local to the area. On calling them to get the details, they were not able to find a contract, but told me they would look through an older system to see if our family was in there. We were not, but the gentleman I spoke with, Scott, was extremely helpful and called around to a few other funeral homes in the area and actually found the one we had a pre-need contract with and helped me get in touch with them. This was all really appreciated and very classy of them. If they treat someone who's not a customer well, I'd think actual customers would be well-served by Holloway and Scott.
This place had my Grandma before she was shipped to NY I’m in FL... they wanted to charge us $200 to see her!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. The people that own this place should feel ashamed for taking advantage of grieving people!
Scott, Kerri, and Danielle were very helpful with arrangements we had to make for the unexpected loss of my brother. They walked us through everything step by step and helped in any way they could. They made the process much easier on us so we could focus on each other.
So thoughtful and attentive with my father. They brought him out from my parents home with such dignity and respect. I highly recommend their services.
The staff at Holloway was incredible! The way they handled my father's funeral was beyond amazing. The way they presented my father was absolutely amazing. We dealt with David Meyer and he was completely professional and sympathetic. Our family is forever grateful for the Holloway Funeral Home for making this terrible time allot easier.
For a funeral home/crematory, you would think the folks working there were kinder considering the reason you are using their services. All but the young boy who handed me my uncle’s ashes were incredibly rude. If I could have, I’d have given them ZERO stars. I am so thankful for my local funeral parlor, Farwell in Nashua, NH who stepped in to help! If you are looking for kindness, understanding and compassion after losing a loved one, seek another funeral parlor/crematorium, do not use Holloway in Florida!
I can't even begin to say how difficult it was to have a funeral service for my younger brother. It was especially challenging due to covid-19 and social distancing. My brother's service was the fifth one that we have had at Holloway for my family members. We were always treated with the utmost respect and dignity. I am very grateful to all of them.
I can't say enough good things about Scott and all of the staff at Holloway! They really took care of my mom and I when my stepfather passed at the end of July. They helped simplify an otherwise tedious process during a tough time in our lives. I highly recommend their services!! Thank you all again!
I'm the Video/Sound booth guy at Oldsmar Baptist. On April 11th all your staff did a wonderful job for the Burgee family. I had water for the family at the booth. But I was busy with music and the streaming of the service. Sorry I can't recall her name now, but she was very helpful rotating water bottles into the small cooler. She even took the trash out in the mens bathroom. I know Art Holloway, I'll pass it on that that he can enjoy his retirement, you have it covered. Art @oldsmarlive
We always get the greatest service from their staff. Sadly we have had to use their services many times for funerals and always always always we receive the higher quality of care. This 5 star review is a No-brainer
