Therefore, I had to adopt a different strategy if I wanted to find original scripts to produce. I began looking outside of the Hollywood system and reading the work of aspiring screenwriters. I relied on my good taste to identify great stories, and on my development skills to shape these stores into professional screenplays. The strategy worked.
