Description

Old fashioned customer service, the freshest meat and produce, and amazing daily specials characterize Hollywood Markets, which has served southeast Michigan since 1924. Our stores feature a wide selection of gluten-free products, Michigan-made specialties, and national brands.

In 2007, the Welch Family decided to increase their store total by three, purchasing locations, including the Rochester Hills store, from the former Michigan Farmer Jack grocery chain.

This store is convenient to shop at. That's it! More grocery stores around would be good for competitive reasons. Meat department has always been good. The produce seems to be sliding downhill. The organic selection of produce doesn't look good or bruised. Two items I brought home we're out of date Kraft dressing and Ocean spray. Next time I have to check the dates. The milk I bought head 2 weeks on it but had a bad taste already. With the cost of food going up everywhere please take more time on what is put on the shelf. Checking out has never been a problem.
Nice store. Prices can be a little high on some things but sale prices make up for it. Has a nice old school grocery store feel to it. It's one of the best places to get quality meats such as steak. Staff is nice. They carry some harder to find healthy options also.
What I like about this store is that they always have enough cashiers. If you go to Kroger or Meijer, it seems like there's always a line to the back of the store because there's one cashier working, and then the self checkout line. I actually saw a cashier waiting in their lane for someone to check out, here. You can get in and out of this store for a grocery trip in 20 minutes if you know what you're doing. The meat counter is also phenomenal. If you need meats, come here.
I have shopped and picked up more times than I can count at this store. They are always beyond efficient and quite obviously strive to shop for you like you might for yourself. I’ve shopped online at many places and NONE is as satisfying or helpful as this one. They and their shoppers are EXEMPLARY!! Thankful for this place!!
Nice big and unique selection at the meat department. Prices are comparable to other grocery stores. Grapes were very good but stayed away from some of the produce I wanted they looked bruised or soft. The produce floor is old and dirty looking. I was able to almost complete my order which seems to be a problem in many stores. There are many dented cans on the shelf feel around the can before you put it in your cart. Quite a few of the shelves are filthy. An upscale place like Rochester this store could be a little bit cleaner.
I love this store. They carry Fenkell bread and Dearborn smoked sausage. Many things that other stores don't carry. And they have an exceptional meat counter with quality meats. The only store I buy chicken salad from.
Staff could use a little training on customer relations. Quality of the meat department is better than Kroger. But most other items are overpriced
Sandy was such an amazing smile today she greeted us so nicely. We got all our fresh ingredients and a few extras too. Thank you Hollywood Market for filling our tummies and our hearts
Just got a pickup order at the Rochester store. So pleased with the service and the speed. Amanda was my Shopper and did a wonderful job of fulfilling the whole order. Thank you so much. I would like to know if tipping is allowed at this market. I know the bigger stores do not allow tipping. Thanks.
Very rude cashier told us we weren't putting our grocery items on the belt close enough to her. It's a belt....it moves the groceries automatically to her. So add moronic as another one of her attributes.
