We’ve enjoyed the services of Tim Holmes and his team for our tax needs. Mr Holmes is accessible to his clients and explains topics/answers questions fully and in a way that anyone can understand. Their work is professional, knowledgeable, and in my view very timely. We recommend his services! Although we are not local, he affords us consultations via phone, email, appointments, or “drop in”.
Tim and his entire team have always been so quick to follow-up on special requests, answering tax related questions, or in helping us when we are running behind getting information to them. I highly recommend he and his team for filing taxes and helping when making decisions with investments that could have an impact at tax time. We continue to be satisfied and have been for several years now.
Kevin Swafford was very knowledgeable and answered all of the tax questions that we had regarding our business. He prepared our returns quickly and worked patiently with us on changes that had to be made. I have already recommended him to my son who had Kevin amend a prior year return and prepare his current return.

The good folks at Holmes CPA have been doing our taxes for several years now and we have great confidence in their expertise. Every year we use the worksheets they provide to gather information for tax preparation - this takes a lot of the work and worry out as we know we have all the needed information together. When we were looking for a new tax preparer several years ago Tim was one of Dave Ramsey’s ELPs, so we knew we would not be disappointed. So glad we found this company!
Always do an accurate job with my taxes in a very timely manner. They have been great at answering my questions over the years and have saved me money by finding things a previous cpa left out on a rental property. I did my own taxes for a couple years without a problem, then used Holmes when I got to a year I knew was going to be too difficult for me. I've used them ever since because it saves me time, stress, and I find them very affordable.
Tim is a gem but it seems his staff can't always figure out who is supposed to handle specific accounts. I wish they were all as professional and on top of things as him. Their services offered are top notch for a CPA and I have done personal as well as business accounting with them. Keep up the great work Tim!

Tim Homes and his team have made tax time a very simple and painless process for me and the Murfreesboro Pulse. Many small business owners dread doing taxes, but Tim has helped educate me on what information he needs, and what he does not need, each year so that I hardly spend any time at all to file my business and personal tax report. He will answer any question on federal, state or local taxes, and if he does not already know the answer, he will research and find it quickly! Highly recommend.
