Holsten Jewelers began its legacy in 1912 when Joseph Holsten opened Holsten Jewelers in Vienna, Austria. It remained there until he moved to New York in the late 1930’s with his son Berndt Holsten. The store opened up in lower Manhattan and then moved up to the Bronx right off the Grand Concourse on Tremont Avenue. There the Holsten family’s commitment to Quality, Service, and Selection was first started. Joseph and then Bernie built the store into the full service jewelry store you have come to appreciate.
Today, as one of Westchester’s premier jewelers, Holsten Jewelers has garnered a countywide reputation for unparalled service, nurtured by something as rare as the perfect diamond- three generations of the same family, all sharing the same vision. We at Holsten Jewelers continue to search for the unusual gift that will satisfy our treasured clientele. As we celebrate our 100th year in business, we thank you all for making it possible.
