The Holyoke Fire Department is committed to providing the community with life safety resources in order to reduce life and property loss in the community.
The Fire Prevention Offices many duties consist of fire code enforcement, public education and fire Investigations. Reducing the number of fatalities, injuries and property losses due to fire is the primary focus of the Holyoke Fire Department's Fire Prevention Office. This is accomplished thru public education, code enforcement, various permitting requirments and arson investigation. The firefighters of the Fire Prevention Office are state certified Fire Inspectors, Fire Education Specialists and Fire Investigators. These men and women penetrate each segment of the Holyoke Community through daily face-to-face contact with the public.
The Fire Prevention Office is made up of 4 inspectors; Captain Anthony Cerruti, Lieutenant Maria Pelchar, Inspector Jordan Lemieux, Inspector Michael Boucher.
