Home Fresh, Home made healthy Dog food.
This product was inspired by my dear friend Freya. When I met Freya, a six year old retriever-Sheppard mix she was crippled with insurmountable pain caused by early onset arthritis. Freya could not even keep up with her sister of the same age and general size! Her coat was thin and skin inflamed, sometimes as the pain would increase the nervousness would cause her to lick at her itchy skin until it bled. Of course we were heartbroken and immediately began looking for solution. With the mass production of dog foods a lot of things get overlooked and left out of their nutrition and health. We learned that when cooking dog food mechanically separating it can lead to ash and many bowl issues. And the need for lots of protein can also lead to cheap and unhealthy ways of supplementing it. We also discovered a combination of coconut oil, turmeric, and apple cider vinegar did wonders for the inflammation in her joints and bones. Since the creation of Home Fresh Foods Freya's temperament and overall happiness and healthiness have fully improved. As soon as we noticed the change in Freya our first thought was to spread this good health to all of our friends and family.
