I seldom write on line reviews but wanted to share a very positive experience. We recently decided to replace our bedroom set. We decided on a design and visited the Princeton store. We were able to view exactly what we wanted on the floor. It was even nicer in person than the on-line photos. We were greeted by a very nice saleswoman, Joyce. She was extremely helpful and patient. She helped us with additional accents etc. I would definitely ask for her. The delivery went well and the gents were very good. Overall I would recommend Princeton Thomasville and especially Joyce. Thank you very much.
For anyone considering purchasing Thomasville furniture I wanted to share my experience with my Thomasville furnishings that I purchased from the West Windsor location more than 12 years ago. My service there was nothing grand especially considering what I spent on a living room, dining room and bedroom but my furniture is 12 years old and still looks beautiful! Of course I've taken excellent care of it all these years but the quality was and still is there and it was worth every penny which was considerably more than other furniture stores. A gorgeous product well worth the price in my opinion!
Stay away from this store!!! My experience with this store was near a scam. Around Labor Day in 2018, we was looking to order a large luxury dining table. Given its well-grown brand, Thomasville was one of our few merchant candidates. During our visit to this particular store this September when I asked the sales rep where a model of upscale dinning table, which was the model we eventually ordered, was made, she answered that it was made in their factory at North Carolina. Therefore, we placed an order for the model with this store in Princeton. After waiting for two months, the table arrived. What surprised me was that the table was actually made overseas. Underneath the table, it is clearly stamped with a "Made in XXX". I immediately called the store. The sales rep told me to wait for their store manager's call back. But no one called me back since. Four days later after I called them twice, the store manager finally called and told me that all their products were actually made overseas and assembled in US. This totally shocked me. Should I have known it, I would have purchased a local-made product from another store. Then, when I asked for a return with full refund, they told me I had to pay a 15% restock fee. Of course, I am going to pay $300 for their own fault. Then, I suggested that I would keep the table if they offered me a reasonable discount. This is actually a $2000 table!!! But, the store manager rejected my suggestion. One thing for sure is that this Thomasville store in Princeton is NOT a goodwill business. Be careful with them!
Purchased over $20,000.00 in furniture, 3 pieces came in damaged. Waited 4 weeks for a tech and he had to manually, change over 200 brash buttons and they still do not match the 2 couch's. The cocktail table came in damaged waited 7 weeks for a replacement table and the 2nd cocktail table is almost as bad as the first one and now still waiting to hear fro a tech who is going to try to improve poorly welded and painted piece, not holding my breath. Dining room table game in with scratches and blemishes on the table top. waited 8 weeks and 2 hours after it was to be delivered got a call from the delivering company that they did not have the correct table, store is now telling that I have to wait another 8 to 10 weeks for a 2nd replacement table. Store misrepresented who the furniture was coming from, we were led to believe the furniture was Thomasville when in reality it was not, they deal with many other companies but don't really inform the buyer. I have requested the name and phone number of someone from their corporate offices to discuss this and they refuse to give me any information. The manufacture of the furniture will not deal with me and will only say that I need to handle it with their dealer. I have spoke with the store manager and she has promised to get me answer and yet my calls for information continue to go unanswered. The typical response is that the store has little if any power to do anything and is at the mercy of 3rd party vendors. I have been called directly a liar, and do not feel that they really care as the have already been paid, so consumer beware.
Wow, what can I say. The furniture in the store is great and I'm sure the people are too. It all boil's down to whom you get as a salesperson. We looked at a bedroom set that the salesman kept on repeating to us that it is made "EXCLUSIVELY" for Thomasville Furniture. After my wife and I decided to purchase, we were given a hand written sales order without any details as to what make we bought or model, just the pieces. My 1st red flag. After we agreed to the 45% deposit, we were handed the receipt and basically dismissed. Upon a closer examination at our sales order we called and asked them to put some kind of model or "name of" the furniture we purchased. When we returned to the store, the salesman added "BROYHILL" to our receipt and initialed it. AND continued to assure us that this model was an exclusive with Thomasville. Red flag #2. When I returned home I immediately Googled Broyhill and looked up their bedroom sets. To my surprise, there was our exclusive set. With a name to boot. Here's the funny part. When you click on a dining room set you like or a single piece you can also click on "FIND STORE". The first store that pop's up is "VALUE CITY" and the one's after include Raymor & Flanagan. When I called one of the store's and gave them the SKU #'s which can be found on the Broyhill site they said they would call back with a purchase price. That price was 22% lower off the bat with a follow-up email than Thomasville of Princeton. Needless to say we cancelled at Thomasville. We are so turned off by the process that we are not purchasing anything. I guess the old time USED CAR salesmen have found a home in the furniture industry. Because Car Dealerships today will not tolerate outright LIES to customers..........
Ordered 4 pieces in December, last piece delivered in April. Called about defective quality a few days after delivery- inside cushioning material was bad. We never received any calls from them for late delivery. We still have not seen or heard from a technician to correct the issue.
take a look at the reviews on this site. They perform at a 3.7, and in my opinion that's too high. I spent over 12k in assorted pieces for our home and a piece came in damaged. Its been two months and they still are giving me the run-around. I gave them two months to correct the issue prior to this review. There are many other stores in the area that can provide you better service with much better reviews. You wont need to look far to be taken better care of!
Thomasville of Princeton lost our potential sale when we were completely ignored by the team of salespersons socializing on the couches when we walked in. When we approached and asked a question about a particular item, only one spoke up and even then, she simply told us that the information was on their website. And with that, it was enough to couch them all together.
We were looking at a sofa set just after Thanksgiving and were told we can get free delivery. After we came back from vacation they said they never promised to give free delivery and just hang up the phone. I will never go to this place again.. There are many furniture stores out there, don't waste your time with dishonest and rude people.
Terrible process to get delivery set up. Multiple calls. They lost my address twice. I only got a confirmed date when I called the warehouse directly. I wish I could speak to the quality, but I still don't have my items.
