A decent spot for pizza takes 15 min to get one. We got Laura's favorite and added Basel. I think the chick one looked better.Food: 4/5
I can eat this pizza all day. Home Run Inn has the best thin crust in Chicago. I'm very happy that I went back to the restaurant again after the Addison location closed down. Service was really great. The salads were very good. Beer was also good. The garlic butter crust was amazing. The staff were definitely very friendly. I give this restaurant a 5 out of 5 all day

The pizza I ordered was dry, not seasoned nor appealing. We returned it after tasting 2 slices XL. The manager was talking negatively about our table as we left w two women and never came over to Apologize. This was the only Home Run Inn whereas the customer had to repeatedly go up and pick up their food with 3 employees at the cash register in an empty restaurant. It's NOTHING like the Beverly, Bronzeville or original location. I returned our pizza and the other relatives ate their cheese sticks, French fries and boneless chicken.
Meh! We love the frozen Home Run Pizza, so we were excited to be able to try the real thing in a real Chicago restaurant. But I can wholeheartedly say those pies tasted disappointing. Very bland, and the dough did not have the same delicious mouthfeel of the frozen version. We had a cheese and a veggie pizza and of both, the veggie one was better, though still nothing to write home about. To add insult to injury, the food was way overpriced. So I assume that the Homerun Pizza restaurants at one point in time really were good or they would not be able to charge these prices. The kids working the joint did ok, nothing to complain about there. But on the whole we'll stick to the frozen pizza in future.

Have been having this pizza for over 50 years. They have the best butter crust and sausage. The original on 31st is the absolute best tasting.Food: 5/5
Location is extremely clean,no issues in that Part.bathrooms are also very clean .I walked in at around noon on a Monday and everything was looking freshly clean. Service was friendly and very attentive. We ordered an extra large half sausage and cheese pizza it's your regular home run in pizza, Not amazing pizza but just your average thin crust. We ended up paying around $30 ,that seemed abit high for me ,usually we get amazing chicago pizza at around $30-$35 range from other better known Chicago locations . But with the very few good options available in the area and if you want something before you head to the theater,across the street,this can be your best option....they also have pizza by the slice.
Excellent staff, very courteous & professional. The food is always delicious & the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Home Run Inn Pizza.Food: 4/5
The restaurant accommodated our graduation party of 20-30. Pizzas and drinks were tasty. Staff were attentive to our needs.Food: 5/5
