Just moved here from South Florida and was worried about finding a bank that was small and personal. Well man did I hit the jackpot with Home Bank Texas! They have gone over and above my expectations and I would highly recommend this bank for all of your banking. Michelle Knight helped me open my accounts. And the bonus last week??? She brought in a home made Texas sheet cake for the customers that was the best cake I ever had! Need I say more???
Quite possibly the best bank in all of Texas. The staff are warm, accommodating, and always ready to help make things happen! My wife and I have been loyal patrons since 2012 and can't imagine banking with anyone else. Also, they have homemade treats cake, pie, cookie, biscuits, etc. in the lobby every Friday! Come by and see them, grab a bite, and leave happy!
Most high maintenance/non user friendly bank ever. I’m a young adult and this was great while I was in high school and they were really accommodating. But, this bank doesn’t have access to any other ways of payment for example Apple Pay. The bank app is so frustrating, constantly locks me out and glitches. Deposits take forever to process, and overall it’s really confusing. I don’t recommend if you’re someone who loves Apple Pay, instant access to your bank app, and technology like I do. Plus, money takes a long time to show on your account. I’m currently locked out of my account and will be closing my account ASAP.
Michelle and the team at HBTX went above and beyond for us during the covid pandemic to aid us with our PPP loan to bridge the gap when no one else would, including 3 other national banks we already had accounts and did business with. I know that in itself isn't all that impressive but when you take into consideration that we had long standing accounts with the other banks and none at the time with Home Bank I think says a lot. We have since moved multiple other accounts to here and done commercial loans as well always with the highest level of customer service.
Where do I begin? if I could give HOMEBANK 100 STARS!!!!! I would! I’ve been with Them when I moved here about 17 years ago, I was looking for a personable, Smaller Hometown Bank other than the Well Known Others... I’ve had more problems with BofA, Chase, Wells, etc... I owned a Business for over 32 years, I had more troubles with my accounts at all of these... I even had “Identity Theft,!” Which they never helped recover for me, just shuffled me from person to person... That’s why I decided to look for a smaller Hometown feel Bank, and be treated more like Family, not a number... I’ve been with them since I’ve moved here and I’m not ever leaving... They’re consistently courteous, friendly and go above and beyond to make your experience with them more than exceptional... They’re always eager to answer my questions, without any attitude, like the others I’ve experienced... I deal a lot with “Amy,” and I must say she’s exceptional!!! She calls me by name, always has a smile and Cheerful, remembers when tell her about family issues, and asks how they’re doin... The billing Department in Segoville, is just as good... That being said, HOMEBANK is an exceptional Bank in my opinion... Also, they always give me great advice on how to move my money around, and help with the Technology of the App... I highly recommend this Bank!!! Never a worry, Great People, especially “Ami,” and the whole staff... Thank You HOMEBANK for being the Best Bank Ever!!! You All Rock! ET~
I had been with BOA for 20 years and when covid hit they did not care one ounce about me as a small Business owner. Homebank Texas not only helped me with securing my PPP loan, they have helped me with my construction loan on my office building, and my cabin loan in Broken Bow. I have now after 20 years moved every account I have to HomeBank Texas. I will never bank at another Bank again. The personal service is AMAZING!!!
Made a deposit on Friday, April 10th, 2020 at the Rockwall location. Was told I could not get cash back because I did not have the funds to cover it. Now this is normally understandable, but I have made this same deposit 6 previous times over the last 6 weeks and have had no problem getting cash for payroll, even though I did not have funds to cover the withdrawl in most instances. I explained this to the teller, she told me she talked to the manager at the Seagoville location and could do nothing about it. I then asked her for my check back so I could drive to the Seagoville location and do the transaction there I had made the other 6 deposits/withdrawls there with no issue. The teller obliged she was a bit curt with me during the course of the conversation and did cut me off when I was speaking to her. I arrive at the Seagoville location 30 minutes later, and get the same explanation, from a much more rude teller. She told me that the teller that took care of my previous deposits should not have posted them immediately and should have put a hold on every check one was an atm deposit that cleared same day no problem lol. So now, I cant make payroll because I cant get my money. I understand holds on checks, I even understand not withdrawing more than you have in your account. I don't understand having the same check, from the same person, deposited 6 weeks in a row with no issues suddenly having an issue on the 7th deposit. But, this doesn't irritate me as much as the general unhelpful and rude attitude of both tellers, especially as I began the conversations with: May I have a withdrawl and deposit slip please? The teller at the Seagoville location spoke so rudely I went so far as to ask her if something was wrong, to no response. But hey, thanks Hombank Texas!!! In this time where small businesses are shut down because they can't make payroll, unemployment is at 13 million and rising, it's nice to know that you need to hold funds on a 6 times proven account so I can join the companies that can't make payroll. But, I jumped through hoops yesterday to get my hard working guys their money, no thanks to you, Homebank TX. Can't wait to close my account with you, not that you will care, I certainly don't carry enough money in my account for you to notice.
Michelle and the staff at The Home Bank in Rockwall are super helpful and friendly!! Michelle has gone out of her way to help my elderly dad and I in getting his money moved around, things in order, etc. Couldn’t ask for better service! This is the model for the way all banks should be.
HomeBank of Rockwall far exceeds any customer service skills I ever had. The staff at this location is exceptionally the best. Michelle Knight goes above and beyond to satisfy every customer need is met plus some! Thank you homebank for providing Rockwall with great service !
I Have a business and personal account with this branch. I do work all over the metroplex and could find another bank with more locations, but I specifically bank with this branch for the incredible, friendly, and professional customer service that they provide. They greet me by my first name and strive to accommodate all my needs. I highly recommend this branch!!!
