Offering local, organically grown bouquets & blooms. Portion of all proceeds are donated to local veteran, children and animal charities. Thank you for your support!
As many of you may know I have worked in agriculture for years. I love farming with all my heart but these past few years have compiled into many hours of alone time completing tedious tasks. Sure, lots of that time I spend listening to music and podcasts but lately that time has been overpowered by thinking about- to be honest- really shitty things like how our veterans are jobless and homeless, parents in terrible situations where they can't afford their child's medical bills, or especially in a trade where I'm working with food all the time thinking about the homeless, hungry and children with poor nutrition. Instead of letting all these terrible situations bring me down I decided I want to help in anyway I can.
Recently, I have started my own small flower business called Homegrown Blooms. I started this little business to start setting aside some money for future farmland and a tractor and to have a creative outlet. I'm thrilled to incorporate two of my favorite things; agriculture and design into these bouquets that can bring smiles to people's faces. After a lot of thought and planning I decided today that for now on for each bouquet I sell I'm going set aside a portion of that sale money to donate to local homeless, jobless and disabled Veteran Service Organizations, local Childhood Heath and Nutrition Nonprofits and local animal shelters. So if you haven't already please like/share my Facebook page Homegrowns and follow my Instagram homegrown_blooms_ in effort to get the word out and see some pretty pictures of flowers
