The Homer Glen Emergency Management Agency is dedicated to responding to emergencies in Homer Glen and surrounding communities.
The mission of the Homer Glen EMA is to PREPARE our members with the training and proper resources to RESPOND to an emergency or disaster, to assist in RECOVERY efforts following a disaster, and to assist in MITIGATION to help reduce the effects of disaster situations.
The Homer Glen EMA is working to provide the community with an effective and efficient emergency management operation which, when applied, will provide the levels of protection for life and property and the recovery assistance which are essential to the citizens of the community.
