Had a great time. All the campers are friendly and nice. Park is big enough for a great morning and evening walk. Bathrooms are clean. Some bugs but you are in the woods camping. Shower heads are adjustable. I chose massage spray! Two pools family and adult. I only went to the family one. Drove pass adult one looks about the same, nice. Played bingo and won! What a great visit. Will return.
We've camped here for 3 years now. We came back each year due to the friends our kids and ourselves have made. The park is nice and maintenance crew are great. We will never return again after we uncovered just how unprofessional the management of this canpground really is. They will act super nice but once you have an issue that you need to address about management, they will turn on you and put a traget on your entire familys back. I have documentation to prove this. They will make fake accusations so that corporate will turn a blind eye. We had fake reports made about us but can guarantee there is no documentation or signature of mine stating that any issue had been addressed with me. When this retaliation of management happened I was devistated for my kids sake. I contacted corporate and also have thier unprofessional response in email. I askes 3 questuons in my email and the only response was what the two managers gave me. Again, good campground but make sure youre part of the clique with management and if you report them for aby legitimate wrong doing then you will have a target on your back.oh and last but not least, thier waiting list is bogus. They offered sites available online last year and when we called they said our campers were too big. But once we got there they had campers there longer than ours. This is the reason why we reported them to corporate. The list is their way of picking who they want in there. We will never return until their managers are gone.
On our first trip to Homestead Campground, we couldn’t have had a better time! This is a lovely family friendly park! Lots to do with the kids. We enjoyed fishing in the pond and splashing in the pool and splash pad. Thank you to the manager Brian who made sure we were able to visit as our first trip was canceled due to truck issues. He reached out and asked us to pick another weekend so we wouldn’t lose out on our visit. I will undoubtedly be Back! Highly recommend.
Internet is terrible even after our rent was raised 400 last year to have it repaired. Big dog in pull thru barks day and night. Rules seem to be just for permanent residence and not for visitors staying a short time. Restrooms: Restrooms and showers are closed a lot of the time and not clean at all.
Very nice and clean. Has 2 pools one family one adults only. Also a splash pad to play in or cool off your dogs. The new staff is doing a great job adding activities and upgrading. They get out and meet their guest and try to accommodate them best they can. Lot sizes are good size and the people are always willing to help each other. Close to the ferry where you can take a trip to CapeMay. Highly recommend you visit or become part of the family and stay all season
This is not a family campground. The family pool does not have and attendant. Teenagers rule the pool with no respect for smaller children in the pool. Teenager jumping over them. Parent seem to think it’s ok to allow there behavior wirh done parents joining in . A lot of alcohol at the pool. A lot of partying in general everywhere.
I just don't know how to even begin. This place is Amazing, the staff, Amazing everyone so helpful. Tracy so, so helpful in helping me look for a package that was supposedly delivered and never was, she went with me to the homes in front and mailboxes, and just so helpful. The 2 pools, the basketball court, pavilions, I mean goes on and on..We love that it was so peaceful, and so just friendly I just fell in love with this place. We will definitely be back 2 times next year Can't wait until we can book for next year. Looking forward to being back..I must say, These sites are huge I had my 32ft.TT, and my 2500 and still had room for another car or 2.. the landscaping is on point.. Keep up the great service you're providing us campers. The only and only thing that would makes this extra superb, a Full store, with options..
Meh, I feel as this place is very overpriced and not well cared for. My parents recently bought a camper in there that is stationary and I was just visiting for a few nights stay. Bathhouses are clean but there must not be rules on how campers are to be kept because numerous ones are covered in algae and have been since spring.. just looks poorly compared to others. Campsites are smashed in like sardines but all of the people and activities are great. Just the looks are not up to par.
Our family has been at Homestead Campground for many years. We love it here! There are many activities for young and old. It is convenient to travel to the beaches, restaurants and other activities in the area or stay in an enjoy the campground itself. We have had a very pleasant experience with the new management, who are quick to help you in any way that they can. We look forward to this season.
Great staff & clean facilities! Lots of fun weekend events! Not far from the beach and great places to eat!Rooms: 5/5
