We unfortunately had a very bad experience during our last visit to this location. We stood in line for about 5 minutes and were the only customers in the store. The employee that assisted us was pre-occupied with a phone call that she stayed on during our time in the store. She was putting together what seemed to maybe be a pickup order, but did not acknowledge us while she was doing all of this. It made us feel very unwelcomed and felt like we were inconveniencing the worker. It seems like they are busy with stuff, even when there are no other customers in the store, so the customers that are present are made to feel rushed to get out of there.
I always like to give owners of businesses the benefit of doubt because running a business can be frustrating. The first time shopping here the lady who checked out my items was very short and snappy. Upon my second time shopping the store hours said it closed at 10pm. Whomever was working watched me park and walk to the building. all the while getting into her vehicle without saying a word about closing at 7pm. It’s rude and disrespectful at this point, will not be shopping here again.Update your hours and customers service skills.
The same as the other liquor store in Vine Grove. They know what people are looking for and plan on capitalizing on it. Easily the worst prices I have seen locally on anything but cheap bourbon and whiskey.. Find another store that cares about customers.
Great prices and a huge selection. Clerks also have a good knowledge of products and are able to make recommendations.
Military discount on liquor only, nice service, avoid selection of all beers, and liquor.
Best liquor store in town! It's like walking in a second home! So welcoming and friendly and just a wonderful place!! I don't drink but I come for cigs... If only there were scratch offs it would make it a million times better.
Lady at the register is super nice and friendly. She keeps track of her regulars.
This place calls themselves "hometown liquors" and when I called to ask if they had a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon the woman implied that she only wanted to sell it to someone that lives local....my immediate thought was ...oh thats great...then I went in the store and she wanted $450 for a bottle of van winkle...which is NOT Pappy Van winkle...the same bottle that I paid $69.99 for a yr ago in Elizabethtown....they are literally ripping off the locals....I WOULD NEVER SPEND MY MONEY IN A PLACE LIKE THAT!
Great selection from special brews to liquor. Prices are great and staff is knowledgeable and helpful! My favorite store for all occasions! Check out their fall specials!
