Macarons, tea, and cookies were delicious. Art activities were fun but a bit pricey. It was a bit cramped but was overall a good experience, very pretty and the staff were kind and helpful, would go again. Parking: Parking was poor in front of store, however they do offer extra parking in the rear.
So cute!!! This is the first place and only place I got good macarons. They’re soft and warm, nothing like the ones from malls and stores, they’re not hard and they’re not super sweet. U can tell they were handmade with care. The drinks are so creative and cute! I love the little merch store they have too! Though it’s kinda pricey, makes u think twice about getting merch. 10/10 will come again! A great place to get a snack! Kid-friendliness: There’s art supplies for kids to draw with while eating a snack. There’s also art classes for kids.
It's a cute little place my daughter likes to come to get macarons. They draw on them to look like animie cookies. The little cakes are also cute but too expensive for them to be $25.Food: 5/5
This is such a cute place! I loved the different crafts they had available. The environment is so cozy. The art on the walls is absolutely stunning. I painted some wooden magnets and my partner did some embroidery on some cards. The food was adorable and very tasty. Same with the drinks. I loved all the local artists they have in their little shop area too. It was really fun and I’d definitely go again when I’m in the area.
This place is ADORABLE. The snacks and the art vibes are lovely and the art teachers are personable and incredibly helpful! The only draw back in the woman behind the counter acts like she hates being there and will treat you accordingly lol Side Note: The parking here is AWFUL. If you are planning on coming here, allow extra time to find somewhere to park.
I have frequented honey art cafe for the occasional beverage & macaron here and there but what cemented for me that I will not be back for anything other than macaroons was my most recent visit. . This place has hands down the BEST macarons in the city. Wonderful, fresh, and cute AND they actually taste like what they say they are unlike some other macaron places I’ve gone multiple times for just these but not for the art sit down stuff. My most recent visit I purchased the watercolor set + afternoon tea. The food that I received was what I think was meant to be creme brûlée, a chocolate chip cookie, a vanilla macaron & a chocolate macaron. The creme brûlée was mainly just vanilla pudding not really enough of a sugar top to it to add any of the usual creme brûlée flavor . I think kids would like it though. The chocolate chip cookie was most definitely frozen and tasted of freezer : What i might recommend as someone that works at a bakery is to freeze your cookie dough & make a couple daily to sell versus keeping cookies in freezer. higher quality while keeping costs low & the cookies keep fresh for about 2 days before you should toss. macarons as always were good. My peach tea was also decent but it is just bagged tea. So, the watercolor- okay paper, dirt cheap watercolors, and chipped large brushes. The other problem was the lack of supplementary materials artist tape is usually a must for WC I understand communal art supplies are going to have some issues keeping them in good condition but it was kind of a letdown because as far as creating art with the supplies the brushes were way too big for the tiny pieces of paper. I wouldn’t even call this good for beginners because i think beginners would easily become frustrated with the size dichotomy of the materials and the flaking brushes. It felt as though my money is better spent at a different local cafe price wise. I could easily spend 15$ on a freshly made snack & a loose leaf tea elsewhere and purchase a winsor & newton student quality set from the nearby art stores. service wise I went to talk to the girl working about ordering some food & was told to just use the QR code which is good for introverts I think but I wouldn’t expect to befriend any staff. I absolutely do not mean to badmouth this place in any way because i think the owners are lovely it is just hard to justify spending the money when so many other friendly & cost efficient cafes exist.
My daughter is artistic and loves anything art project related, so we came to check this place out mainly to see if it’s a legit place for their listing of $70 private art lessons. We got the $15 watercolor DIY, an iced latte, iced matcha latte, two macarons, and strawberry mousse cake cup. First, the watercolor set up was nice. Essentially, you’re “renting” the paint and supplies and get 4 small papers to create your art. For $15, it was fun and worth it. The lattes were lacking for me. I took one drink of mine and did not prefer it. I can’t determine exactly what was off about it, but it wasn’t for me. I’m thinking I should have tried the hot version instead. The matcha latte was better, but still not great, in my opinion. I asked for full sweetness and it wasn’t very sweet at all. Unfortunately, I would not come back just for coffees. The macarons were cute and delicious. The strawberry mousse cake cup was good, but wasn’t amazing. The cake at the bottom was a little dry. The staff was nice and friendly. The artwork for sale is amazing, and it’s a cute little place. Overall, I’d go back for another art project, but I wouldn’t order food or drinks.
The Honey Art Cafe is one of the coolest places to be at. The place has a great selection of dessert and drinks. They have a small gallery on the inside and great pieces of art to buy. They even have a small water coloring class in the back that makes for great fun. The desserts are delicious and works of arts themselves!
I ordered the chocolate mousse cake which featured a banana filling. It was an interesting taste. One of the most wonderful things I enjoyed about this cafe is the huge murals on either side. One of an African American spiritual queen and the other of an Asian queen. All of their desserts were amazing. You can order art on the menu as well. They will bring out oil paints and a set up and you paint or draw away while you eat. They also give military discounts. Will be revisiting.
Super unique! My daughter came here with her dad and RAVED about this place for weeks. One day, I told her we’re going to see what the hype was about. We live in the Woodlands btw Our coffee art date was wonderful. We purchased an assortment of macaroons, Moon Tea and Water Coloring for two for $40 #nocleanup It was a win-win for the both of us and the macaroons were tastier than I thought they would be. They offer a variety of different art projects from 5ft coloring banners to wood coasters. They follow a lot of Covid protocol even in June 2021 including face masks, notes on the table letting you know if it’s been disinfected and clear plastic separators in between tables.
