This class action lawsuit relates to the impact that neonicotinoid pesticides have on the bee population and beekeepers who produce honey.
The proposed class action relates to the impact that the neonicotinoid pesticides (namely, imidacloprid, clothianidin and thiomethoxam) have on the bee population and, consequently, Canada’s beekeepers who produce honey and provide pollination services essential to the production of Canada’s fruit and vegetables.
The action includes any individuals and companies in Canada in the business of honey production, queen bee rearing and/or pollination services between 2006 and the 2014 season.
