Master Joe is the best instructor and is amazing with kids. He motivates and inspires the kids to give and be their best. My son improved his focus, confidence and strength. We have been going here for more than year and I can say Master Joe pays close attention to each and every student. Overall, I highly recommend them for Taekwondo classes.

Both of my boys have been going to the class since age 4. They are now 7 and 5, so we've been here for about 3 1/2 years, and it is no doubt one of the best choices I have made for my boys. My older one now 7 was like the quietest kid in class, after couple years, he is now speaking up and showing great confidence in class. Even if the class looks packed at times, it's amazing how Master Joe has his eyes on every single child and communicates with each one. Also his helpers, known as Susa's are older kids but they are amazing too. Very well disciplined and trained by Master Joe. I would highly recommend to have a look or even sign up for a trial class.

Wonderful place. Master Joe is amazing with kids of all ages. My one child started classes when the studio just opened and my second one decided to join after the first class, when he saw how inspiring Master Joe was, even though he had no interest in classes before. I checked a few studios around before signing up and they all failed compare to Hong Ik. Definitely check it out, you won't be disappointed!

Hong ik martial arts is an excellent school. Master Joe is kind and patient with all of the students and he helps teach us important values for example how to improve focus and concentration. He also teaches how to channel our energy and many breathing techniques. Class is for various ages and anyone hoping to have learn taekwondo, have fun, improve their focus and much more.

Master Joe is a great instructor. Great way to teach hard work and focus yields positive results. It’s good for my daughter.
