I purchased a pair of sneakers and an orthotic in August. I love them both. Has done so much for my plantar fasciitis. The service at Hook’s is excellent. I have recommended them to others and will definitely be going back when it is time for new sneakers or orthotic!

Our salesman, Larry P., was absolutely wonderful! He's attentive, friendly, and really listened to me. He asked questions to make sure he could assist me with all my shoe needs. I’m in the market for new shoes and the reviews were good so I checked them out. Paul assisted me and he was awesome. Got me fitted and gave me his expertise on multiple shoes. Will definitely be back
About a month ago I called Hooks Shoes asking about ortho inserts. The man said yes , but I would need an appointment. 10 days later a arrived at Hooks at my appointed time. The man then told me that I needed an RX. So I went to my Doctor and called Hooks again for a new Appointment. The man said I didnt need an appointment . So I arrived first thing Friday morning with my RX in hand. Now I was asked if I have insurance . I said yes gave the 'insurance woman" my card and told her Ive bought inserts twice before with my Insurance with a small deductible. She told me I had a 5000.00 deductible and I should call the insurance company myself because it would take her an hour or more. So I left Hooks shoes. Later that day I called my insurance company as told. This 4 minute call confirmed my inserts are covered and that I have a small deductible NOT 5000.00! So now im sure I have everything I need except the desire to return too Hooks Shoes .
I have been buying footwear here for years and would not even think of going elsewhere. They spend as much time as needed to make sure I have the perfect fit. I highly recommend them, especially for those with hard-to-fit feet.

My 89 year old Dad needed new shoes for balance and he fought us tooth and nail. Paul Giglio, our sales associate, was excellent and I hope to work with him in the future. He was patient, listened carefully to both me and my Dad. He went out of his way selecting samples until we found a great fit. An example of a completely successful interaction.
We are very very impressed with Hook's. The salesmen are terrific and knowledgeable. We usually deal with Paul. A great guy. Takes the time to answer questions and concerns. We share memories of our younger days in the 70's... a music lover too! Will go there for all our footwear needs.
What a difference. Someone actually measures your foot and fits the shoe to you. They specialize in shoes for people with special needs, like those needing extra support their job requires them to stand all day. I did a quick check and their prices are the same as Amazon, so you might as well go here and get something that you know will absolutely fit.
The service here is provided by gentlemen of great patience. I should know. I spent two hours with one of them, trying to find the perfect sneaker to encase my bumpy, arthritic feet. He never wavered in his enthusiasm to make sure that I was satisfied and comfortable. You need an appointment during the pandemic, but expect a wait if a customer before you is being given the same consideration. You will be happy when it's your turn.
