I highly recommend Hooper Funeral Homes. Mr. Dwight Hooper provided a desperately needed helping hand at an unexpected time so the graveside service for my mother could go forward as scheduled. Mr. Hooper’s willingness to go out of his way on a busy Saturday along with his calm, kind, and professional manner at a difficult time will always be remembered and appreciated by our family.
My family had the most horrific and disgraceful experience with this horrible company. We had to call 4 times for the death certificate. Then Dwight called me personally to let me know the keepsake remains were ready to be picked up and when I got there a couple days later they were not ready and nobody could figure out what was going on..I waited 45 minutes for them to give them to me. Finally the most important detail..they assured me the day I picked up the keepsakes that they would deliver the remains to the National Cemetery for us. My entire family was waiting for the ceremony who drove from all over Florida to attend and Hooper never delivered my father's remains. When I called them to find out where they were.Dwight argued with me regarding the details and told me I was wrong. My father was a veteran and paid for and deserved an honorable service and received nothing from this terrible company..they provided nothing to my family but more grief..Do yourself a favor and pass this company by..quickly
Wonderful folks. They handled my aunt and uncle's arrangements from across the country and are currently handling my mother's. The facility is beautiful and the undertaker was warm and caring. Yes, the pricing is on a pamphlet, and no it isn't placed in the lobby on racks like attraction pamphlets at a hotel, so it did have to be retrieved. During the interview they gave us a comprehensive package of information concerning all aspects of the process and we were grateful for that.
My step father passed away this past Friday unexpectedly. My mom made an appointment with Matt at Hooper Funeral Homes to discuss cremation options. He was very kind and helpful during this process. Him and the staff were kind people at the service and answered any question we had.
Hoppers has done funeral services for my grandparents my parents my sister & many other family members and they have always gone above & beyond to care for our loved ones services. Our Family Highly Recommendeds them. Thank you!! for your loving care Hoopers. Sincerely The Bellamy, Rooks & Stokes Families...
I was quite surprised at how cold and impersonal we were treated when we asked for information and pricing for cremation for a loved one. We were left standing in the lobby while the salesman went to retrieve a pamphlet with pricing and info sheets. I am still quite irritated by the whole thing!
One of the employees spoke dirt on 2 dead kids name. It takes the lowest of lows to talk about dead people. I think that these employees need to learn more respect before they can be trusted with the bodies of loved ones. Smh
The person that was doing the service called my son the wrong name four times, then talked about his personal experience about a man he was taking to face to face stop to answer the cell phone. We didn't care to hear about that.
Considering a certain staff member makes fun of those who have passed and bullies the friends of the person as well as causing reason to not be trusted with the body of a loved one, I wouldn't choose here. The workers should be monitored better.
Caring nice down to earth RIP lesandra Velasquez 2012 to 2021 I miss you dearly
