The staff are all friendly beer freaks and they’re excited to point you towards the stuff they like. Hyper-curated taps and a massive can selection that changes constantly. Add in the fact that dogs are welcome and you have the perfect beer bar. No food, just trucks, but I’m giving the food five stars out of runaway enthusiasm. Parking: Parking lot is off the alley behind the bank next door, but there’s lots of it.
Brevity is key when reviewing a place like this, because simplicity is their strong suit. They do beer. And they do it phenomenally. Huge selection. Wonderful, knowledgeable staff. You can buy a can and drink it in shop, or take it home. Or drink half in shop and walk home with the rest. Okay, maybe don’t quote me on the last part. Anyway, what was I saying about brevity? I’m rambling again, impart to the fine, aforementioned suds.

I’m a local and have been coming to this place regularly for over 2 years now so this review is WAY overdue. If you’re looking for genuinely fun but chill vibes, with every type of beer imaginable, and the most knowledgeable and FRIENDLIEST of staffs, this is the place. And the crowd is always cool, I’ve made some of my best friends there. THANK YOU HM!!!

Every neighborhood should have a place like Hop Merchants Bottle Shop in it. This is the place to go for craft beer and beers on tap. Looking to grab a four pack of the latest from your favorite craft brewery? This is the place to go. There are rows of fridges filled with cans and bottles of the best beers in the area. Note: if you're looking for Bud or Coors, look elsewhere. This is small scale craft beer only. The selection is wide and you're pretty much guaranteed to find something you'll like. And when you go in, step up to the bar and get a draft. There's a very neighborhoody feel here. It's not unusual to find folks chatting with each other and making friends. And, of course, the beers on tap are great. They rotate on a fairly regular basis, so there'll always be something new and interesting to sample. When it comes to craft beer bars in NoHo, this is a must stop.
Love this place. Great fresh beers and a huge selection of canned local brews. There’s outside sitting both in front you can people watch and in the back too. The interior has a light and airy decor. Service is friendly and knowledgeable on available beers

First timer have to admit. But was a very nice experience.They are asking for vaccine proff or current negative covid 19 test results, Which I'm totally for! But now let's talk my furst beer tasting here.Tried the Yellow School Bus and was very tasty.Im definitely returning to sample some more of their refreshments!! I loved the service and was very comfy sitting there in a delightfully funny signs around place!!! Clean bathrooms a total plus!
Hop Merchants is thee best bottle shop in the valley! The beer selection they put together, both in the fridges and on tap, is so diverse and delicious. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable in all things beer and really add to the atmosphere of the bar. The mustachioed man behind the bar always makes us feel welcome, have a few laughs, and offers the best beer recommendations of the day!
