The American brewing industry reached another milestone at the end of June 2014, with more than 3,000 breweries operating for all or part of the month (3,040 to be precise) Ten years ago there were 1,499. Convenience stores, in general, have limited space for adding new brands. Hot Spot wants to be your destination for Craft Beer. To accomplish that goal we are constantly searching for the best local, regional and national craft beer. Inventory is constantly changing as we strive to get the best beer to you.

Welcome to the Hop Spot on East Henry Street in Downtown Spartanburg where we have added 110 feet of additional shelf space to our Beer Cave. This is the prototype of our plan to provide all of our customers with the finest craft beer.
Why drive across town, to Greenville or Asheville to find a good selection? Just stop by the Hot Spot on East Henry Street and step into the Hop Spot Beer Cave! It is 29 degrees F and stocked with the finest craft beer. Note that we are trying to carry as many locally brewed beers as possible (RJ Rockers, Thomas Creek, Quest from Greenville, Green Man, Highland Brewing, Oskar Blues and now locally brewed Sierra Nevada). We also have a few “regional” breweries represented such as Foothills Brewing from Winston Salem, Coast Brewing from Charleston, Duck-Rabbit from Eastern North Carolina, Terrapin from Athens, Georgia and Westbrook Brewing from Mt. Pleasant. Our offerings will change as different beers become available through our distributors. Plus we strive to carry a good selection of seasonal offerings!
Prices are so low you may faint with surprise. We have RJ Rockers latest releases, with Hop Quake coming soon! The beer is kept at 29 degrees F. It's not cryogenics but it doesn't take a scientist to figure out which beer will be fresher and taste better!
