I am a mom of two awesome children, ages 7 and 3 and wife to a loving husband. I worked outside the home for the past twenty years but recently, due to positions changing and the workplace evolving, decided to get out of the rat race and stay home with my children. The best job in the world!
Well, I soon learned that I couldn't just sit still! I have to be doing something - the one hobby/passion that I have consistently had since I was 10 years old (I'm WAY older than that now!) was sewing. So here I am. Staying home - loving the fact that I get to be with my children, feeling that life doesn't get any better. Then it hit me. I need to start my own sewing business. One where I can do the one thing that I truly love and have fun doing it! I love designing and creating and am hoping that you see that as well.This is my way of taking my 20+ years of marketing experience and my 34+ years of sewing and crafting and mixing it all together. I can contribute to the family's bottom line, be with my children and still donate my time and skills to my community with all the events that consume our daily lives.
