I’ve been using Curt and Connie’s business since 2017 and they are really great. No complaints from me. They always make our customers purchasing wholes and halves very satisfied.
Had some pigs processed. It was our first time to all this. We have a date for a steer as well. Very helpful in everything there is.

The overall experience was great! The employees were helpful on the phone before coming. Very friendly and willing to explain every step when we arrived, since it was our first time to have a steer processed. I love how they package everything just like it will work for your family. We home school our kids and try to use every opportunity to let our kids learn a lesson. The butchers in the back let our boys come back and "see" and was super friendly explaining things to questioning kids. The boys loved it!
I used them for the first time to process 2 of our pigs. The service was excellent and the processed meat is even better. We actually recieved what we asked for. Their bacon is phenomenal. It is not salty like some others. I will continue to use them for all of my processing needs.
Great place to do business with. Very helpful and does a great job. Only "problem" is he stays booked solid for 60+ days because of a good solid reputation. That speaks volumes itself along with people bringing livestock for 100+ miles away.
Very nice staff. Very helpful. I like the way he walks you through how to determine the best cuts and amounts for your family. It’s all well packaged and easy to use. We didn’t care for the bacon flavor but we will use them again ask for more salt next time.
We have butchered with them quite a few times. AMAZING service, more than fair prices, willing to teach how to make beef better. Love dealing with Kurt and his family.
Great experience- wonderful owner, very humane treatment of the animals. I had a hog processed, the cuts of meat were great, and the bacon was DELICIOUS!!! Flavored nicely, and not too salty. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to grow what they eat and feel good about the end result.
We have been using Hopkins County food locker for years. The quality of the beef cutting has always been excellent. The staff is professional and runs a very clean locker. I highly recommend them.
