Five year resident of Hopkinton's opinions: The town is morphing from a small middle class town into a large, wealthy town. Those evolutionary pains are not going well. Politics are corrupt and have been proven to be. Investments in infrastructure are costly and insane. Management leaves often, and those on the Boards are not all qualified. The saving grace is that it is a nice atmosphere to live in with all the parks and proximity to the highways.
I sent an email requesting a mail-in ballot. They mailed my ballot to the wrong address. When I called and asked where it was, they insisted I filled out the form wrong, even though I had the email I sent them right in front of me and I had clearly filled out the field "Mail Ballot to:" correctly.
The main street project is a disaster, it is much narrow now than before and poor design! And now a redesign! Who would take responsibility for this! waste of tax payer $$$$$. High taxes than most other towns but amenities are poor and bad water quality!
I always have a good experience. Everyone seems so friendly and I get my issues resolved.
