Announcing the North Shore’s first INNER STRENGTH TRAINING PROGRAM for Youth 12-17! This program will train Teens to develop the Physical and Mental Resilience and the Emotional Intelligence necessary to accomplish their personal and educational goals.
Practice HORA is now accepting applications for its INNER STRENGTH TRAINING PROGRAM. This program is open to 12-17 year-old boys and girls. (10 and 11 year-olds will be considered on individual basis and may have their own separate classes)
Our program trains resilience and strength for everyday life, which increases ability for academic and extracurricular success and reduces a temptation to use substances to deal with teen social pressures. We will meet weekly for 12 weeks and there will be special parent-teen classes 1x/month. (12 Youth Classes + 3 Parent-Teen classes)

Discover the power of inner attention to manage physical and emotional states
Learn how to release stress and train overall confidence
Train to overcome physical and mental obstacles with ease
Svetlana Baklanova and Yevgeny Frolov, global experts in Resilience and Strength Training, will guide your teens through a journey to find and be their best selves. Svetlana is a national expert in this area and has helped hundreds of people find and know their strength over the last 10 years. Yevgeny, with a background in Martial Arts and an active corporate career, has been teaching with Svetlana for more than 3 years. Both live in Wilmette, IL.
Classes will be consist of light to moderate-intensity physical exercises and a short discussion.
12 Teen Classes: Sundays 10:00 am and 3 Parent-Teen classes Thursdays at 7:00 pm
The program includes two field trips (Spring/Autumn 2017) to international youth presentation\training events at NU, Evanston\UIC, Chicago.
Practice HORA® is a science-based training program designed to develop physical and intellectual inner strength, endurance, and the ability to be calm and focused during any type of activity.
