Only stopped by one trailer to buy something off Market Place. My impression was it is an older park, a bit run down, well treed but not what I'd invasion in the PS area. It was quiet, organized clutter clean, and an affordable place for low income maybe middle income in these times to live. The few people we encountered were hospitable. Definitely check it out prior to making a long-term stay there, not because it's a bad place as i only visited for 20 min but just so you know it's the right fit for you. Nearby activities: Your right off HWY 111, the link to everything in the valley. Located at the foothills, just a hop and skip from the strip, shoppingandrestaurants.
1950's TRAILER COURT SET TUCKED INTO THE SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN DIRECTLY UNDER BOB HOPES HOUSE AT SOUTH RIDGE. VERY BOHEMIAN FEEL AND NICELY MAINTAINED. POOL JACUZZI HIKING TRAILS AND CLASSIC VINTAGE STYLE TRAVEL TRAILERS TO BUY AND MAKE YOUR OWN.Location: 4/5
I stayed here for 6 weeks in a 5th wheel. Its extremely well located, Well maintained and unique, Curt and Rene the managers were very helpful and accommodating. The park has a very diverse collection of residents from fulltime residents to vacationers in RVS. Walk, bus, Uber, bike to everything. Exceptional value.
Perfect lil spot for me and my 5th wheel home we will see how long this place survives the GREEDYRooms: 5/5
We were lucky to get in as they have limited overnight spots. Really tight streets, otherwise our stay was pleasant. Nice pool and hot tub. Limited laundry, only 1 washer and dryer, shared with long term residents.
I used to live here along time ago and i loved it. The rents are reasonable. Its close to everything. Its very rustic and right below Bob Hopes mushroom house on the hill. Great hiking trails behind the resort as well. They have activities and hot tub and a nice pool and laundry facilities that are outside under a roof. Its pretty kool and very dog friendly
I stayed here in my Class B camper van for 3 weeks and I loved it! When I first arrived, that song "Funky Town" starting playing in my head. It's funky in a very good way. The first thing you notice is that the streets are named after planets and the residential units range from dilapidated double-wides to super nice tiny home/container home installations. That's the funky part. Soon, you will find that the residents permanent and temporary and the staff are really friendly and nice. I felt like I made so many friends if only for a few weeks and I do truly miss them. This park has such a great sense of community. If that is not enough, the location is desirable: Trader Joe's and a Vons very close by to the south and a well-appointed shopping center a bit to the north. I often walked to both. Palm Springs Central only a few miles away. But wait there's more... the rates are very reasonable comparatively speaking. And for some icing on the cake: the park is snug against one of the best hikes in Palm Springs. Seriously, you can pick up the trail right from the park. And they have a cute, if smallish, dog park. I am an entirely impartial reviewer and I can say this was a great find.
Staying here our first time as snowbirds. 3 months in and so far so good. Our space is excellent. The amenities are wonderful here. Hot hot tub and heated pool are awesome. You can access a hiking trail from the park that heads up into the hills and connects to a large trail network. Close to shopping and public transportation. Looking forward to the next three months and we will be back.
Highly inaccurate directions! I was almost an hour late to my destination.
I had to revise this review because they recently upgraded the dog park! It's SO nice now and my dog LOVES it. Still need more streetlights and be sure not to leave your bike locked up outside bc people will steal it..The pool is nice! I love it here.
