What a horrible experience... I am still smudging away the bad vibes that I absorbed from my recent visit. I have not been to this establishment in quite a while. As I walked in I was greeted with a "take-a-number dispenser". That was just weird. The front desk/checkout gave me bad pawn shop vibes. The experience in which I use to visit for was one of wonder and un-told treasures as you explored all the cases and flipped trough the abundance of unique and colorful outfits that covered the walls, which are now blocked by counters of nothing but piercings. When the gentleman at the front counter and I talked, he asked my opinion about what it was that I liked the area of the shop that is now closed but soon to re-open, and I mentioned how unique the pieces were, but when I mentioned how pricey I thought the crystals were, he got super defensive and persisted to attack and belittle me. He asked me If I owned a business and proceeded to tell me how his research and prices are better that fair. "Well sir... I own three businesses and one is that of spiritual nature involving crystals and I can tell you that the energy you bring to that establishment will never support abundance for you."
I love this store! Haven’t been in here for several years, but had to make a trip there to get some nose jewelry for my daughter. All of the employees were so helpful!! Thank you for the great customer service!
I am so sad, I am 37 years old and have been coming to horsefeathers for years, almost my entire life. I live two hours away from the shop now, so when I made the drive down today with my 8 year old, and was turned away at the door- this shocked me. I've been in this store hundreds of times and spent hundreds of dollars here. This shop has changed so much over the years, but a no children rule, that's wild. Needless to say, I am going digital with my jewelry purchases strictly now. I will never leave my child in the car. Such a shame. End of an Era.
We didn’t even get two steps in and the man behind the counter was completely rude because they “don’t allow children.” There was no sign outside and nothing online that stated so before we drove 45 minutes to get there. When we stopped in the doorway because we didn’t understand and we’re surprised the man said “I think you get it.” Horribly rude. I used to go to the store before the pandemic it is NOTHING, like it was with the previous owner. Not worth it.
Still waiting for anyone to care about your weird policies. NEW review as they feel the need to challenge reviews here and on other places. This hole in wall is a must miss in a must miss town. This place was great and now it's awful. You're greeted with political BLM signs. Guess they didn't read about all the major issues with embezzlement that organization is now going through. They rudely demand masks which has been proven by 3 major worldwide studies to be ineffective. Their store... their choice, but this place is a must miss. The odd, angry man Jim who has been responding actually threatened that he called my place of work. That's harassment and I took a screen shot for my attorney.. You're canceling yourself, but nice try. I don't live in a far left state anymore and when coming back home to visit will never spend even a penny I might find on that store again. Regret very much the thousands I've spent there over the years. Rude owners and managers who are trite and petty in their attacks. Avoid this place if you value yourself and hard earned money. Yep. Waiting for the juvenile response. I think it's funny that you think my company would care about any of your opinions. My boss says go woke, go broke, and clearly by the reviews is what's happening.
So many novelty and more earrings, body jewelry, stones, incense, clothing, dream catchers... No Vaping, Drinks, Food, Kids allowed.
Great place, chill vibes, friendly staff. If you’re looking for real crystals and not glass or painted rocks, this is the place for you.
It's definitely bit different than what it used to be and I don't think that makes it worth any less; The same things I got a decade agogauges were the same price, and the employees were more than helpful based on the current business modelmore employee interactive based on review replies...I just miss Lorenzo's touch. It's still a fantastic store, just more of a systematic/clinical feel shopping there. It's more clean, organized and well lit, sure, but that's not what originally drew me in. I really don't think they deserve a negative review because of any of that, but if you expect the same store you went to 10 years ago, it's not the same . late 2022 masks optional, never was bothered about it/no issues
I love the knowledge of the staff and the huge selection of body jewelry, incense, and crystals!
Lady with black hair was rude ignorant and hurtful when it came to shopping in the store from walking in to walking out I enjoyed the leaving part most! All I wanted was sage and I felt like she had a bunch of negative energy inside her! Unfortunately it’s sad they could use new employees besides the guy with gages he was super helpful and inviting!
