I have an online order that was not processed by me. I called the same day the order was processed to get the order cancelled and stop it from shipping to India. Representative stated order would be cancelled and escalated to fraud team. Order was supposedly escalated never cancelled and shipped overseas. Now there's nothing they can do to get my money back. I have to get my bank to take care of it. It's a fault of hot topic why should another company take care of it. Also how does a company with thousands of employees not have management for their management. Their members that state they are managers but have no power nor the ability to get anyone else. Can't believe a company can be so careless.
For some reason, a warehouse worker for Hot Topic thought it was a good idea to ship this item *in a bag*! The box was obliterated and is not usable at all. I actually had to get a refund for how horribly the shipment turned out. The item itself would have been amazing had it arrived in a decent condition. Hot Topic also tried to censor my review through their own system, so I'm making sure people know about my experience.
I worked here for a while. This place is a complete mess. It is extremely unprofessional and very dirty. They never take their time to clean up the warehouse so running into empty boxes on the floor is normal. The employees are ok but the staff here, it seems like they lied about knowing management in their resumes. Cause it seems like this is their first job At least managing. When it comes to them saying they were wrong. They’ll justify any excuses to make you look wrong. Example I was sent to go work in an area and when I arrived I saw that the work had already been done so I started working on something new. Then a supervisor came to me and tried to argue with me that I was in the wrong for not doing what she asked. Even tho I explained the thing I was told to do was already done. The only good thing here is the pay. I was able to buy my new mustang after working here for just 2 months.
If I could give zero stars I would. Company has ZERO desire to support its customers. It would rather sell to big resellers and make customers with valid orders, wait months, just to find out it’s canceled and then be forced to pay 2-3x more than it’s value to the company it didn’t cancel the orders of. There is no excuse for this or their lack of any solutions. 3 pre-orders canceled within a month, all of which were ordered 3+ months ago. They’ve lost a customer who’s shopped there for over two decades. Disgusted
Working here is blast , just wish I could be with a different agency or to be in the company. however I'm not here to bash the agency, I'm here to give thanks to hot topic e-commerce and the very hard-working individuals thanks. They have given people such as myself a opportunity to have a foot in the door. Working here can be fast paced or slow tempo just depends on a few factors. However great working environment.
As a truck driver, we picked up a load here, all employees were very nice and LOVE working here! They have beautiful rest rooms, and the warehouse is air conditioning! Awesomeness! Now that I'm not driving anymore, I LOVE Torrid, and shopping there is great!
don’t buy body jewelry here! I was told I could return it if I didnt wear, I came back an hour later to return because I changed my mind and then was told no : waste of money
Really hated working here. Started in September with an agency got hired onto company several months later but it sucked overall, they over work you for little pay, at first I liked it till I realized how awful and biased people are like the leads and supervisors. Rumors spread like wildfires and there's honestly no growth within the company, so much favoritism and childish people who are supposed to be your leads and supervisors. Standards and company policies are not present.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!!! Bought slippers for over $16.00.. Way overpriced but it was a Christmas gift so I paid it. Christmas day he wore them only 1 hour and the whole back ripped out. I took them back a few days later with the receipt and because we didn't save the tags, they would do nothing for us. No money back, no store credit.. I never heard of such a poor return policy. They were uncaring, ignorant and seemed to be proud of their poor customer service. After mentioning this to a few friends, I found out one of them took an item back to this store with the receipt and the tags and the store would do nothing for them. They lost several costumes so far, and before I am done they will lose several more. STAY AWAY Over priced JUNK!!!!!
