Hotel FIVE - A Piece of Pineapple Hospitality

The hotel was such a great experience... from the staff Samson, Jordan and others being so polite to explain details and every available option. I must admit this is a rare trait in customer service these days. The location was excellent and we were pleasantly surprised by all the little details during the stay that we will never find in any of the typical hotels! The large Scrabble board on the wall, Shuffle board which was a big hit, board games, seating to relax and unwind were all such a great experience for folks who are on a visit. I have to mention the pineapple water, water for rooms, free beverages, cookies etc. were a real treat. The mattress and quilt were so good - I've never been able to sleep in a typical hotel - you changed that!!! We wanted a bit more time to vacate and your staff were so accommodating - they never rushed us at any point. All of this and so many other small details that you took care of - will definitely get us to lookout for pineapples! Michelle and team your ideas are nothing short of brilliant! Keep up the hospitality work... you are doing excellent. Rooms: The rooms were a good size. The mattress and quilt were excellent - you could actually sleep! You gave us everything you advertised! Kudos! Walkability: The hotel was very central to different activities including the Space needle and Pike place. Noteworthy details: The mattress was exactly as advertised... clearly home like feeling and not that of a hotel.

My partner and I decided to take a weekend trip to Seattle to explore and relax for a bit after a stressful month. It was my first time in Seattle and we were able to explore to a lot of amazing places which the convenience of the hotel’s location made it possible for us to do. The light rail and the monorail were within walking distance and it wasn’t too far off of walking distance to Pikes Place and other amazing bars, restaurants, and shops. The room was comfortable, clean, and I loved the fun theme behind it. I was a fan of the duvets and the pineapple themed items in the room. The staff were also very friendly and I love how we were given complimentary drinks and unlimited water which we both really appreciate. The major downside to our stay was the noise. Our room was located facing the roads which can very loud especially when emergency services had their sirens on, cars with loud exhausts were racing by, or when the monorail passes by which I understand can’t be helped. However, we also had a very lively group of people staying across from us on our second night, partying and hanging out to like 3-4am in the morning! The thin walls made it so we can literally hear their conversation when they were hanging out in the hallway and them yelling when they were in their room. I probably only had an hour of sleep at best that night and was exhausted the next morning. Even though we were just here for the weekend to rest and to enjoy my first time in Seattle, I can’t help knowing we weren’t able to rest well in the comfort of the hotel after a long day of exploring this wonderful city. Despite having such a convenient location and a comfortable bed to sleep on, the restless nights made it very difficult to enjoy. Rooms: Comfortable beds and very clean. The lights by our beside though would not turn off or on sometimes. Walkability: Very convenient location with walking distance to the light rail, monorail, and other great near by restaurants and shops. Food & drinks: Complimentary alcohol or non-alcoholic beverage with unlimited water was a huge plus!

Our family loves the Pineapple! It's bright, welcoming, and the staff are all so accommodating. We first visited because they welcome dogs, not just allow. Our pup got the royal treatment: treats at the counter, treats bags, and a cute little portable and foldable water dish. That was just a start and the desk clerk also offered a doggy bed. So that won us over at the get go. The room was wonderful, clean, quiet with an entire pineapple theme. The beds are comfortable and the duvet divine. We slept well. They offer lots of perks for people too like the complimentary drink, extra water and coffee, bikes for the city and the cute pineapple cookies. After our first stay, we keep going back to Hotel 5. I'm looking forward to visiting some of the other pineapples along the coast! Love it@

This is definitely a very cute boutique hotel that we found very interesting, but not necessarily our favourite just yet. Would give this place a 3.5/5 to be exact. Design/theme: 5/5 We loved that everything here is tied to pineapple, they got stuff toy in the room with pineapple theme and pineapple water which is a must try! served down in the lobby. Facilities: 4/5 We really like that they offered complimentary welcome drink the house wine rose I had was really good! and free coffee and water at the lobby. We were disappointed to learn that the gym is not opening to public for the time we were staying…but they do have arcade games that are very fun to check out at the lobby! Room: 2/5 Everything in the room was great except for the thin wall…but it’s just kind of bad that we could hear every word outside. I was woke by the noises in the hallway in the middle of the night, if otherwise, I will give it a 5 as the bed is actually very comfy. Service: 5/5 Super nice staffs! Especially the ones who helped me in the morning with the check in!

This is the second time I’ve stayed this Pineapple and it didn’t disappoint. I was able to check in early. The staff was amazing. They brought up a fridge for us. The cookies were fresh and tasty!!! And of course the beds were comfy!!!! I was there for the NW Flower and Garden Show. The location was an easy walk to the convention center

Super, super comfy beds. I loved all the amenities and customer service. This place has very good value and is updated nicely even though it is an old building. It felt very clean and no carpets! Noisy room from street traffic but did not bother me as I am a city person and it didn't start till the morning rush. Quiet in evening and overnight. I'm sure a room facing the back would be quiet of you requested that.

My son and dog won't let me stay anywhere else. The bed/bedding is out of this world. Nothing beats it. My only wish is to have the option for a bath but the rainfall shower heads and endless hot water make up for it. Walking into the hotel lobby my son is already halfway to the shuffle board table as the dog pulls me towards the front desk anticipating the bowl of full size dog biscuits at which time I head to the cooler for my complimentary beverage upon check in. But what sets this hotel apart is the friendly outgoing super awesome staff members. I cannot say enough about the staff. Its the Excellent and Exceptional customer service they consistently provide that stands out It's also what makes me a repeat customer.

Amazing customer service from the time the door opens, you are ushered in with smiles and you can tell they are happy to have you in their place. Swift check-in and the room was beautiful, loved the centerpiece and teddy bear very thoughtful . The complementary beverage was a bonus. Its accessible once you board the light rail from the airport. 10/10 I will be back.

Fun themed hotel. Friendly staffs. Really liked the arcades & games provided at the lounge area. Room was really good with extremely comfortable bed! Could have easily been a five star experience, but the shower drain was clogged and not fix while I was there so I’m rating a 4 stars instead.Rooms: 4/5
