My husband and I could not have had a better experience this past weekend at Hotel Mountain Brook! From the second we walked in Nicole was so sweet and helpful, and Sandra made sure to make our stay extra welcoming. We felt right at home, the bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast was the best addition and absolutely delicious Ryan really knows how to cook!, the location is perfect for exploring many towns and places in the Catskills, we also had great restaurant recommendations from Sandra. The grounds are beautiful and even just sitting out on the front porch was super relaxing. Could not recommend this place more to anyone looking for a perfect weekend or longer getaway.
My family and I have been to Hotel Mountain Brook many times in the past couple of years, both in the winter and the summer. We have had nothing but positive experiences each time. The hosts, Sandra and Ryan, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They have made us feel like part of the family every time we have stayed. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We love the delicious breakfasts that are served each morning. There is always a variety of options to choose from, and everything is made fresh to order. We also enjoy sitting on the front porch with the beautiful mountain view, making s'mores by the campfire at night, and playing games in the lounge area and outside. We have met so many other lovely people visiting the area sharing stories of our experiences. Hotel Mountain Brook is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Catskills. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway.
We had an amazing time at this rustic yet luxury inn nestled in the mountains. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed on the first floor of the main lodge. This was important to us. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times from the moment we arrived. Thank you, Sandra and Ryan, for the hospitality. Breakfast was outstanding and the location was perfect for exploring the area and enjoying the views. We especially enjoyed mingling with other guests on the porch and in the evening at the fire pit. It had the feel of a quaint bed and breakfast with the amenities of a small hotel. We will definitely return!
This was our second time to Hotel Mountain Brook and it was just as amazing as our first time! Our family stayed in the Three-Bedroom Suite which was very clean, comfy and roomy. We also booked one of the Superior Rooms as our daughter was traveling with her dog. They were so welcoming to him as well. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The beds were so comfortable and the suite was delightful. Our daughter enjoyed her room as well and said it was very comfortable and inviting. We will definitely be back!!
We had such a beautiful and wonderful stay at the hotel! Staff was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast that was served was fresh and delicious and there was also snacks to grab as you want/need! Beautiful location and super peaceful Thank you for hosting us!
Absolutely adored this place! We gathered 3 couples for a long weekend to celebrate some big birthdays. A combo of relaxed atmosphere with gorgeous, comfortable amenities. Beautiful setting in the Catskills. Rooms were tastefully appointed. Above all, the service from the owners was warm, sincere and accommodating. Breakfast varied and delicious best bran muffin I had in years!. Loved the little touches of complimentary Smores kits and cozy throw blankets for long sit around the fire pit at night. Highly recommend and we'll be back!
We had an extended long weekend at Hotel Mountain Brook. We were warmly greeted and given a tour of the grounds. Our room was spacious and the bed and bedding were wonderful. We enjoyed the front porch and the fire pit during our stay. Although their is no restaurant on sit, Breakfast was outstanding. The property was beautiful and we had great time. Rooms: Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The linens and towels were very lux. Walkability: We walked to town for shopping one day and for our meals. It was very convenient.
great hotel. the room was comfy bed, good water pressure for the shower, and plenty of space. we stayed on the first floor so we had direct access to the lounge where there was coffee/tea/snacks and soda available free. some cool board games and lots of movies to watch if you had a rainy day. the breakfast in the morning was perfect, there was a hot option which was a ham and egg sandwich when we were there it was awesome. we also had overnight oats and some other quick eat stuff like that. the location was perfect because you could walk into the town for some food/restaurants, and it's a short drive to the ski area or mountain biking. the outdoor firepit at night was awesome and they had s'mores kits for you as well. would definitely recommend staying here. Walkability: easy walk down the hill to the burger shack and other restaurants
We had a great experience staying here. The staff was very friendly and seemed to take pride in the property. Our room and all the common areas were very clean. Lastly, the included breakfast each day was terrific. We will definitely be returning!Rooms: 5/5
We just came home after an unforgettable weekend stay. From the warm welcome and tour by Sandra to the beautiful room, grounds and common spaces, everything was perfect. The game room is filled with a ton of great board games and a shuffle board table. I couldn’t tear my husband away from the Mrs. Pac-Man!! Great snacks were also a draw. Fire pit and s’mores that night was wonderful. Breakfast both days was delicious and so well executed. We were so sad to leave, but look forward to coming back soon. Definitely a 5 star experience all around!! Rooms: Our room was small, yet cozy and beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable.
