Warm, inviting, and family-friendly, Houndstooth Grill and Tavern has a casual atmosphere in an elegant setting. The main candle-lit dining room and bar feature gorgeous, locally hand painted murals that highlight the traditional English decor. The newly updated bar is located to the left of the dining room and is nice and private. Happy Hour is daily from 4:30PM until 7:00PM. Behind the bar is the beautiful banquet room that seats up to 50 guests; it is private with sliding doors and restroom. In addition, the large covered patio is perfect whether you're on a romantic dinner for two or a fun, relaxing get together with family or friends. Enjoy cocktails or desserts around the marble top fire pit while listing to music on Fridays.
Restaurant owner and operator Yanis Latsis purchased Houndstooth Grill and Tavern in April of 2014. Originally from Latvia, Yanis and his family immigrated to the United States in 1988 where he eventually discovered his love for the restaurant industry and his passion for making people happy with great tasting food. He loves bold flavors, food that stands out, and he enjoys helping people make everlasting memories during their dining experience.
With over 23 years in the business, Yanis has done it all. He began his restaurant career as a dishwasher but quickly advanced to kitchen manager and never looked back. Over the span of his career, Yanis has gained vast knowledge about the industry from his time as chef, kitchen manager, manager, operator, and owner. He has been awarded with multiple awards and was a two-time winner of the prestigious Partner of the Year award for Outback Steakhouse.
Yanis is a caring, community-minded owner who enjoys serving people through charitable organizations, schools, and churches, and his passion for providing guests with a memorable dining experience shines through in all he does.
