This is a great place to take in some live music. I have attended many shows here and hosted a few as well. The owners Judith and John are very friendly and honest. I always have a good time.

Excellent music venue with great food and good service! Reasonably priced cover charge with fun vibe. 2nd time here for Van Halen cover band and just as great as first visit. Will become a regular soon.

This was my first time here. I am so glad we have a music venue that is ‘somewhat’ on the east side of Tucson. It was a great atmosphere, and it was easy to get a drink. I love the outdoor section. Being able to walk outside and talk made it an excellent place to enjoy music and hang out with friends. I hope this place stays open.

Came here with some friends on a Saturday around 3ish. Matty took our orders served me a hamburger and fries. The burger was awesome! I had to go for another. I'm a real fries kind of person so I passed on the fries. Hopefully when I come back they will have some real fries because this place is so cool that they give you options. They were just out of them. They were out of nachos too, so when I come back I'm ordering all three. The burger and fresh potato cut fries and nachos  This place also gives back to the community, and helps with good causes. Awesome venue!

Most awesome place you could visit just makes you want to keep going back. John the owner is the most hospital owner and restauranteur I could have hoped for what great food and hospitality. They have awesome bands all the time. And then with a great music shop right next door that is very hopeful and all your needs for musicians

Thank you House of Bards for the venue on 10/29/22 for the All Hallows Eve-Tucson Metal Society Show.  I heard all good things about the bar staff, and rave reviews for the great burgers by Jake Richardson, winner of  the Tucson Knife Fight 2022 Chef's Competition. Thank you for all the work put in the decorations and table settings when we got there. It was our best show ever, and TMS is grateful for your help in making that happen!

I really didn't want to write this review but I am sure I am not the only person this has happened to. This place used to be one of my favorite places to catch a live band and have an occasional bite to eat. On October 23rd, I brought my daughter here to celebrate her 18th birthday. We did our normal thing with her being in my sight at all times. Eventually I asked her what she wanted for dinner since we skipped that in exchange for a live show. She decided on their fish and chips special. My credit card was charged before I was informed that they didn't have any fish and chips. She settled for mini chimis that I could have made better myself and I'm not a good cook so that's saying a lot. Once I got home  I realized that I wasn't refunded for the meal we didn't receive. Today  December 16, 2022  I am still waiting for this refund. I guess I won't ever see this $16.00 again.

The open air small venue was fun. However in January sitting on metal chairs outside just a bit cold.

The music was great, What was not though was vip tickets were purchased for specific seating area and non vip persons took all the seating. I was forced to share a table with a couple who was nice enough to let my party share their table due to staff not enforcing better seating rules. Which this couple ended up leaving halfway through the show because people were not in assigned seating and standing in front of everyone else. Food was ordered and not brought out until 2 hours after the order was placed nachos and wings If there was more staffing I feel it would have been a better experience.

Great Band.  Only problem I ordered 2 beers and 2 cocktails for gf. They wouldn't give us a glass of water on very hot night. Told me I had to buy bottled water. Any bar will give you water as long you are drinking or eating. Very disappointing.
