Let’s start with the owner Peter who is very involved and hands-on in the business. He works with his clients every day and puts customer service at the top of his list! Now let’s move on to the ordering and installation, the crew is insane they are so good! This is the second home that I’ve done with them and this home was 18 windows so it was quite a large deal. They were in and out in less than two hours!!!! Ahhhmmmaaazzzing work!!! Not only is every single window perfect and perfectly installed and aligned, but there was not a bit of dust to be seen! This crew is flawless, this company is the best and when you work with them you’re assured to not only get a great product but great customer care. If there’s ever a problem Peter and his team will take great care! Run fast to work with this team!!! Of course the Hunter Douglas product is the best. M
I've been purchasing my shades and blinds from this store for years now and they consistently provide personal and efficient customer service. We love their Hunter Douglas products - great quality and last forever! Both Diana and Madelyn have been friendly and helpful and their installers have always been respectful and polite. I have recommended them to my family and neighbors and they never disappoint.
We purchased a set of motorized blinds several years ago from House of Blinds and just recently one stopped working. Hunter Douglass no longer makes the same motor, but that didn’t stop the House of Blinds to problem solve and adjust to get it working again. They could have taken the easy way out and sold us a brand new one . The communication by text was outstanding while they were problem solving and juggling their busy schedules. Not only does it save a huge cost to us, but also the environment. We are very appreciative.
Very friendly staff. Communicative and honest when giving advice on which blinds/ shades would be best for my home. They schedule ASAP and have always been timely. The installers have been efficient during all of their visits as well. It’s quite impressive, really. Only thing I recommend is putting one order in when you’re 100% ready. I didn’t; I needed blinds/ shades in different rooms at different times and, consequently, am having to pay shipping fees each time. Otherwise great overall experiences here!
Great Experience working with this Company for over a decade now. They are through, professional, and price competitive. I have dealt with Peter, Wilson installer and Diana on the telephone. I could not be happier. Small job or large, they always come through. Most importantly HOB stands by their work, any issue small or big, they always fix it. Could not recommend them more for Window Coverings.
Each staff member was responsive, timely and professional. We first ordered window and door coverings for most rooms in our house. Three years later we returned to House of Blinds for one more room and once again were completely satisfied with our experience. We are completely satisfied with the service, quality and results.
I had ordered my blinds to be hung a day after my new windows were installed. There were issues with the windows and the blinds were put of twice. Each time it was rescheduled to my convenience and with a smile. Good products. Great people.
House of Blinds furnished all my window coverings for my new home. They were professional and easy to work with. There of course were major delays due to the pandemic but as soon as product was in, an installation appt was set. The installers were efficient , safe, professional. I had one issue with a drape. They handled replacement efficiently and satisfactory. I will use them for any future needs.
Madelyn was wonderful. She helped me out with a blind replacement part that was over 10 years old! That’s dedicated customer service. My next window coverings will be with House of Blinds.
Due to poor service, which I experienced with my roughly $5000 order, I'm giving House of Blinds a 2-star rating. There was miscommunication between the store and the sales rep who was scheduled to come to my house to measure my windows and show me samples of window treatments. He wasn't notified about the appointment, so I waited for him and wasted my time. The appointment was rescheduled, I ordered blinds and waited several weeks. On the scheduled installation date, when nobody arrived, I called the store and was told that the installer had a family emergency, wasn't available, and the blinds could be installed the following week. When the installers arrived they successfully installed blinds on my windows, but the blinds which were meant for the two, large patio doors were defective, so they could not complete the job. A week later they came back and put up blinds to cover my patio doors. That was today, Feb. 17th. Turns out, the patio door blinds are not equipped with a magnetic catch, or other method for holding them in place, so they do not stay put when fully extended. I pull the blind across the width of the patio door, and it gradually slides back and leaves the door uncovered by about ten inches. So, tomorrow I'll call the store again and see if I can get them to finally complete this job. The blinds, themselves, are very nice, but, when I consider the cost and the poor service, I don't think they are worth what I paid for them.
