I was really excited to order online, filled my cart and paid.. on October 15. Since then I have had no clear response on when I will receive what I paid for. I have emailed, messaged and even called. The lack of communication is highly frustrating when I respected this company so much and looked forward to their goods yearly at our medieval fair. A simple shipping date would be appreciated and I don't feel that was asking too much when the website stated orders were to be sent on Mondays. How many Mondays must pass? Unfortunately even if I ever do get the order I placed, doubtful I will ever order again.
Placed an order early December 2022. Order never filled but card was billed. Spoke with the owner who said they were temporarily closed even though their website didn't reflect this information. She told me at the end of December she would credit my card. No credit and ignoring all my messages. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
Absolutely LOVED the chocolate chip and regular shortbread. The products were fresh and sealed very well. The gentleman working the booth was both friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable for what you get. I would definitely do business with them again. Please come back to the North Texas Irish Festival, and hope to see you there at the Texas Scottish Festival.
Delicious! The bread pudding was so tasty and warmed me right up. The shortbread was crumbly and buttery and perfect. The lemon poppy seed pound cake was moist and dense and full of flavor. The only problem I have now is figuring out how I'm going to get more and soon
Bought chocolate chip shortbread, puff pastry stuffed with cinnamon and raisin, and oatmeal cookies from them at a farmers market. $14. Shortbread was borderline rancid, pastries were bland and not fresh tasting, and oatmeal cookies were so bad we spit them out. Everything tasted too old...why??? Surely you must know the freshness of your baked goods. I'm disappointed. Maybe if you read this you will realize the error of trying to sell stuff that you knew wasn't fresh. Sorry...
Great customer service!! Delicious baked goods!!! we especially love the lemon poppy seed pound cake, and the cookies oatmeal raisin and oatmeal choc chip ,eccles cakes and selkirk bannocks. Will definitely order again!!
Best Rum Raisin Pound-cake I've ever had. Awesome cookies too! I can't wait for the next Panama City Beach Scottish Festival. I'm putting in an order now :-
My bread pudding was inedible. Total mush. The whiskey sauce had no flavor. It wasn't sweet or whiskey flavored. No idea what it was. Waste of $6. It went in the trash. Central Florida Highland Games. Also bees were all over the food which was uncovered.
I was unable to find the actual bakery. But I have bought their bread and other delicious treats from their booth at festivals and farmers markets. Their Struan bread is my favorite! Their scones with strawberries and whipped cream are to die for!!!
What a shame that the "gentleman" working the booth at Celtic Fest was such a disrespectful person, or else I'm sure I'd have a lovely review to write regarding the delicious looking baked goods. The man at the counter rudely criticized me for asking for another shortbread cookie that had a hole in the wrapper- denying me a plastic bag and calling me immoral and "not Christian" for requesting another not holed cookie. Unbelievably rude, idiotic, just plain stupid to be honest. Stay away.
