“House of Tabata" is a group fitness class designed to improve endurance and stimulate fat loss. With each week, we will COMPLETE different exercises; however, rather than hours upon hours of exercise... HOT can be completed within 20 minutes! Yes, minus the 10 minute warm-up and the 5 minute cool down, the actual workout itself will be done and over with within 20 minutes!
Now... you may be wondering how such a short workout can be beneficial. Well, your participation will involve a total of 5 different exercises that will last a total of 4 minutes. During the 4 minutes, you will perform an exercise for 20 seconds, at a high intensity, and then rest for 10 seconds. This pattern will continue for a total of 20 minutes (aka Tabata Training).
Through this "high interval intensity training".... your aerobic system (cardiovascular) AND your anaerobic system (muscles) will increase! In turn, HOT will be short YET efficient! And not only that.... in comparison to traditional workouts, HOT is going to be FUN and motivating because you WILL be doing it with a group of people who are going to challenge you, motivate you, encourage you, and also keep you accountable!
