My visit was scheduled quickly. Once I arrived the receptionist was polite and quick with intake. I was seen within 15 minutes of my arrival the assistant was very nice and the doctor was polite, funny and encouraging. Everything is handled in one office. I would definitely recommend. In and out within 1hr.
Dr Pastier is very personable and knowledgeable. She advised me of the results of my exam and asked if I had any questions. She set a follow up as needed. It was a very pleasant experience!
Highly recommend. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. Dr Pastier was so patient with my extremely hyper 7 year old while trying to do her eye exam. She was extremely professional and answered all my questions concerning my daughters visit.
I have mixed reviews about my visit. Upon entering the office my check in was smooth and quick. They told me that Dr. Houser was in surgery so I would be seeing another doctor. When they were ready for me I was whisked in to a room and my vitals were checked and the information was entered in the chart on the computer. I was also asked about my eye and I was given the opportunity to tell the progression of my clogged oil duct, ie. Sty. It had been a month and a half of drops and hot compresses and three different doctors. Which Is why I came to an eye surgeon. I was taken to another waiting room to wait for the Doctor. I was received by another young lady who brought me to different exam room and asked me more questions. Then the doctor arrived and introduced himself. He asked the technician some questions and looked at my eye at which time he decided it was routine Sty. I had been dealing with this thing for over a month but when I tried to tell him the back story he cut me off. During his examination he found that I have a condition that may get worse and needs to be monitored. He asked me if I had an eye doctor that I normally use. I tried to tell him that I just moved to the area and was not impressed with the two eye doctors I had seen and I would like to use the Houser group as my doctor. But alas he would not let me finish, he actually waved a dismissive hand to stop me from talking. I got angry and made him listen to what I had to say. It's ironic that I was trying to tell him that I wanted to use them as my new eye doctor. I was very impressed with all of the staff members, their attention to detail and they were nice and personable. Him, not so much. When he left the room the technician apologized and said he's ready to retire, not soon enough for me. Dr. Angela Houser is the one you want to see there.
Great, explanatory care from Dr. Houser and staff--only my 3rd visit with this practice. I wonder about the set up of the exam rooms--no doors, able to hear other conversations . . . Optical department was so helpful. Overall a great experience!
Dr’s are good. The Wells Eye Dr and nurses are good. Facility is another story. Outside looks run down. Dirty inside and chairs for procedures are extremely damaged. Foam exposed on arm rests and chair coverings are torn. Floors are stained and dirty. Not what you would call a sanity Drs office especially for the kind of money they are making there.
Some Staff are Very Friendly! However Dr. Newman can Patronize you should you have too many questions and take up his time. I could hear him explain in detail to another patient yet with me spent less than 5 minutes for the Entire Exam and Gave Me NO Information To The Condition of My Except to Say the Elevated Eye Pressure is due to Not using discontinued eye drops. That’s not why your eyes are dilated and I have dual eye lens transplant not cataracts; glaucoma, patched Iris left eye; Stitches in Cornea right eye; Stigmatism! Had Diabetic Retinopathy but Assistant not doctor before I walked out said I don’t have diabetes in my yet no test done that I was told??? My LAST EXAM was in February, 2023…..6 MONTHS AGO And After 2 HOURS In the Office and Photos Having to Be RETAKEN….ALL I’M Worth to Dr. Newman is 5 Minutes of His Time??? With SEVERAL Far Sighted in One Eye; Near Sighted in the Other Eye Detached Retina in Right Eye but That’s the Retina Specialist’s Problem and I was Born with That! I’m a 61 Year Old Permanently Disabled Female with a Spinal Stimulator Implant! Neurological Brain Damage Doesn’t Make Me unable to Comprehend or Communicate Well And I DEFINITELY Deserve The SAME Amount of Respect As People Without Disabilities!!! I Have Been A Patient For 3 YEARS AND TOLERATING Such Rude and Demeaning Character from Dr Houser Newman Merely Because He is the Only Op
My yearly appoint went very well. Staff was very prompt and courteous. Dr. Pancher did a great job explaining everything as he did my yearly diabetic eye exam. This place is great !
Dr Pancher spent a lot of time to evaluate my concerns about vision beyond what I was there for Diabetic eye exam. He was patient, and kind. He is a fantastic Doctor and I look forward to seeing him in the future.
Excellent Service! I was brought in the same day I called for an emergency issue. I was treated for the problem accurately and in a very timely manner. All around wonderful experience!
