I didn't get anything out of my experience with them, so they are a waste of time. I lost thirty pounds from diarrhea, visited them, and they said everything is normal. I had to do my own research for everything and only used them to get a referral to specialist. My family members all had sever illnesses and they got nothing out of it too. We ended up doing our research and going to specialists to get diagnosed. Would not recommend.
I followed my primary care from another medical system to Houston Methodist in Friendswood and I’m so glad I did! Even though I wasn’t able to wait for her clearance with my insurance to go through, I chose Dr. Shah as my primary care and it has made all the difference! She not only has listened to me and ran the necessary tests, she has helped me find a fantastic rheumatologist! I would recommend Dr. Shah and Dr. Parets-Rodriquez to anyone, from personal experience. Houston Methodist has been a game changer for my health, I’m glad I found them.
Absoultely one of our best experiences! Dr Hiram Mtz was absolutely fabulous, my son felt 100% comfortable and felt that he not only listened but understood! I forgot a doctors excuse and Ms Christina promptly completed one and sent it via mychart for easy access! Quickest service ever!
I understand the precautions and maybe a delay in service at the office due to COVID. BUT, I have had my appointment scheduled for months. I had to wait an hour in my car. I called the office to let them know I was not waiting any longer and to refund my copay. They said my room was almost ready. I thought to myself ok so then I'll probably have to sit in the room and wait longer? No. This is not the 1st time I have had to wait that long. This is unacceptable. Switching providers today because of this.
Dr. Molina is a wonderful and caring doctor. However, the service I have received has been beyond unsatisfactory. I have had an appointment monthly for the past 7 months. Regardless of the time I went morning, noon, or afternoon, I have had to wait over an hour past my appointment just to be seen. This has happened the past 7 TIMES. In addition, my prescriptions are never called in when I am told they would be, and I never receive any results from any testing. Any time I was told my prescriptions would be submitted to a pharmacy by a particular time, they would not be. On various occasions, after 2 weeks, they would only be called in once I made several complaints to the office. Currently, it has been a FULL 4 WEEKS since my prescriptions were supposed to be submitted. Last week, I submitted a request online, and I have not even received any type of answer. I understand how busy doctors offices must be, but I am also a paying client, and I am not receiving the treatment I am paying for. I understand their time is valuable, but so is mine. I am so disappointed, and am going to have to begin the process of finding a new doctor.
My daughter has had an ear infection for several weeks. She did a video conference with doctor and she prescribed antibiotics and a round of steroids. Was told if it didn’t clear to make and appointment to come in. Cleared a bit and came back with a vengeance. She called, told them she still had sinus pressure and worse ear pain. They made an appointment. When she arrived at the appointment she called to tell them she was outside Per COVID policy. They asked her what her symptoms were and once again she told them terrible ear infection and sinus pressure. She was denied an appointment even though she had given the symptoms over the phone when making appointment. She waited 4 days to get in - time that could have been spent finding a doctor that cares about their patients. Very unprofessional!
I saw Dr Molina for the first time on June 19th being unhappy with my current primary dr. I read reviews that she is great. When I went to the office, Barbara the front staff, informed me that Dr Molina is excellent and therefore wait times for her can be lengthy. I get that i do work at an animal hospital with the best veterinarians around, though I was a little disappointed that I waited about 30-40 mins past my appointment time to be roomed and then about an hour and a half past my appointment time to see Dr Molina. Okay I get it. Dr Molina seemed to be more attentive than my last doctor and sent me for some bloodwork and ultrasound. I had bloodwork done that day and an ultrasound 2 weeks later. It is now 4 weeks since my bloodwork and 2 weeks since my ultrasound and no call. When I called and spoke to Barbara, I was told that Dr Molina was going to be out of the office next week and so they are booked up and "so busy". I was asked to be patient and wait for a phone call on my results. I have been patient. It has been 4 weeks since my bloodwork and 2 weeks since my ultrasound. I feel I have been nothing but patient and very nice about it. I now feel like I am not an important patient to them and I don't think I will be going back. I am very disappointed as I had hoped I found a great doctor and office but I guess I will continue to look for a doctor that is not too swamped and busy that can take on a new patient and discuss results with them in less than a month. I understand that doctors are busy but I have never told a client that one of my veterinarians is too busy to discuss results about their pet with them. I did not want to write a review like this, but I'm just disappointed by what I was told.
I had my first visit with Dr. Limar-Troutman today and it was such a great experience that I had to share. Dr. Troutman is in the top tier of best doctors I ever been to! She is very thorough and knowledgeable and so easy to communicate and listens. Such a sweet personality too! I feel I am in very good hands! The clinic experience was also 5 star. All the ladies there were awesome! This clinic is excellent in protecting its patients from COVID. My husband is a patient at MD Anderson, so I have a comparison, and can say that this little clinic is right up there with MD Anderson in taking every precaution. Thank you Methodist Primary Care Group!
Worst experience ever. How do you schedule someone an appointment and then an hour later still can get them back to be seen by the doctor. Don't waste your time dealing with these yahoos at this place. I was scheduled for a 1:30 appointment, arrived at 1:02 and by 2:00 still had not been seen. The doctor did not even arrive until after 1:00 p.m.
This group does not respect their clients’ time at all. I was initially scheduled for 0820, which changed to 1020 on the same call. Opted to keep the 1020 appointment. Arrived early as instructed and I was told my appointment was 1040. I told them I had a schedule conflict and agreed to come back the next day at 0900 with all of my paperwork filled out so they could “get me right in.” Arrived the following day. Sat in the waiting room until 0930 at which point I checked my client portal and saw my appointment was gone. I asked the front desk for an update and they said another 10 minutes. At 0945 I was seen and the nurse took my stats informed me she had just finished entering my record into the computer. I was told the doctor would be right in to see me. Checked the portal again and my appointment magically reappeared. Fairly certain they deleted my appointment after I arrived and were scrambling to fix it. At 1000 I left and told the clinic manager on my way out that my time is important to me and I would not be back. At check in the person at the front desk even joked they were better than the last group I saw. Sorry, but the last group at least respects their patients enough to adhere to a rigid schedule.
