Howard Creek is a small fishing community nestled next to the brothers river system that feeds into the Great Apalachicola river. Where the best oysters come from. We Are a small department with a 157 sq mile territory of woods and residents. We respond to First responder calls, water rescue and fires, woods fires along with structure fires and MVA's. We operate on a $15,000 a year budget and have to do fund raisers to help pay for the rest of the equipment and repairs. We rely a lot on donations and grants if we are lucky enough to be awarded one. We do a lot for our community with very little and we appreciate all the support from our residents.
Our mission is to provide to the residents of our community and the numerous visitors that fish and hunt in our district the best equipped and train personnel to respond to there emergency needs when god forbid they needs us and know we will be able to help them without delay.
