We paid $98 to stay here for 1 night. I will say that the bed looks clean, the air conditioning is cold and the floors are not filthy. The bed is hard, you can feel the springs in it. I will add photos if the room so they can speak for themselves. We didn't use the shower so I'm not sure if it's any good but all in all, this hotel is worth maybe $60/ night.
*DO NOT GO HERE*. Worst hotel I've been to, bar none. I would give this place negative stars if it were possible. *Please* read at least some of the comments below before considering this horrendous hotel. Or at least look through the photos to see for yourself. Room: 1. The bathroom doorknob, the door itself, and the AC are literally about to fall off. A lamp and the bathroom light switches are broken. 2. The bed sheet covers are dirty, with weird colored stains. There are also bedbugs. 3. It takes several pulls to flush the toilet. 4. There are spiders on the walls. 5. The bathroom tiles are so loose you can pull them off the ground. You could easily trip over them the first time you walk in. 6. It's practically impossible to open the room doors with the broken key card readers. Takes probably 5-10 tries every single time. One of the two cards flat out don't work. 7. Half the parking is slanted *away* from the entrance, so you have to make annoying 8 point turns EVERY SINGLE TIME you want to leave. 9. There aren't cups you can use to brush your teeth. 10. The walls are so dirty it looks like they haven't cleaned them in several years. 11. This small window above the A/C looks like one from a creepy abandoned mansion. 12. There are these horrible plaster jobs on the bathroom walls. A toddler could do better. Goes to show how much they care about maintaining their room. 13. The TV remtoe doesn't work and there is no sound. Service: 1. On their website they list breakfast as one of the amenities. When we went up to the front desk to ask, they said they stopped giving breakfast since COVID. It's been 3 years and you can't update 1 sentence of your website? 2. Service is average at best. One of the guys sorta ignores you, the other dude we encountered at the front desk was good. Overall, this is the worst hotel I've ever been in, worse than a motel. Hope that helps.
What a dump! They put me in a room where the bed hadn't been made; okay, a mistake...no problem. Moved me to another room. AC was off over 100 degrees that day light switch didn't work, and moldings were missing from walls. Look when the front desk area is locked and barricaded, you know this place is dangerous on top of the mess that is this hotel. Avoid!
Barely checking in. I asked the owners son if I can have a wake up call. The owner overheard and told me to set my own phone with an attitude. Typical Indians running the spot. I was going to choose a nicer spot but it was only 80 bucks. You get what you pay for. A bunch of bums in the area. As well as a bum running the hotel. Never coming back.
The bed was comfortable. That's the only positive for this location. The sheets were torn and stained. The walls were dirty. The bathroom has mismatched tile and looked pretty beat up. The shampoo bottle had bit of hair under the cap. It was pretty obvious that they just refill the bottles and leave them in the room. People were outside in the courtyard screaming at all hours of the night. During the day, there was a man passed out on a bench. Given the position he passed out in, I assume that he was high on something.
Dead roaches on the floor. No soap provided. There was a shampoo that was clearly just a watered down, refill and a half used, conditioner. They outright lied about a shuttle service to the airport although this may have been central bookings/Wynhams fault. Not sure. Either way, don't believe them about the shuttle, the front desk guy had to stop himself from laughing when I mentioned it. Tiles so sunk in you could trip over them. The towels were equivalent to 80 grit sand paper. This place was ghetto max, the only thing missing was chickens picking for grubs by the pool. Conditions sucked but what really bothered me was the lie about the shuttle service. I just needed a place to shower and sleep for a few hours. Luckily I was able to contact the airline, get an earlier flight and skip out of there.
Its a motel with outside entrance into the room so expectations were not high from the start. 2 out of our 3 towels were stained, the door had no additional lock very odd for it to be an outside motel and front desk service was horrible. There were no cups in the room, no liner for the ice bucket, and apparently no ice in the entire bloody motel at all. There is a pool but I wouldn't dare go near it and don't expect so much as a cup of coffee. I paid $95 for my room and I feel completely ripped off.
Growing up I used to love the Howard Johnson across the states as it was a family hotel to visit & it had a sense of family & love & what not. It felt more than just a hotel. However, this particular Howard Johnson really needs to be invested in. It could be better. The beds could be better, the cleaning could be better, even the towels & sheets could be better i mean for 120$ a night what was I thinking lol! It looks like a motel. I won’t be back though.
At first glance staying just 1 night to catch a flight at this place didn't seem bad. We checked in and arrived in a hot, muggy room that had not been cleaned with bed sheets still unkept. After asking for a refund we decided to work with them and were placed in the room next door that was still hot, had been cleaned, but somebody had wrapped a plastic bag around the smoke detector.. We finally were refunded, and for change more stayed at the DoubleTree half a mile up the road
The room was comfortable, we were placed in a double bed room and the rate for it did not change. Front desk along with the manager or owner at this location worked with us on giving us a chance on paying a little than the usual time, for another night stay. We’re a couple who regularly rents a room here and we definitely recommend this place because the price is right here and beats other hotels on rates.
