Beautiful park with two play areas, swings, slides, walking trail, restrooms, splash pad, and disc golf course! The course is absolutely beautiful, pretty tricky as I'm new to disc golf, 9 holes, new tee pads and posts. There are also cool little bridges across the creek.
Many teams practice soccer in the field behind the playground area. There is a cute little splash-pad area as well, but unfortunately, it turns off at 7pm each day. I wish through summer when daylight goes later, it was available until 8pm.
We came for disk golfing. The course is small but definitely worth the time. It's really pretty. I love the winding pathways along and over the creek.
Normally a wonderful place, but the last time we went he was injured on the equipment. The joints of the slide are not properly tightened so when he went down the slide on his stomach, his face got pinched. Contacted parks and rec but they just said they'd pass it along and no one has followed up.
We came here to let the kids stretch their legs and were excited to see a 9 course disk golf course! It was a lot of fun. There are trees and a creek to play around. I would suggest marking the posts a little better. But still a great course!
A gem hiding behind apartments near the woods... Its our go to after school when it's nice outside. It's got freebie golf in the woods behind the park.
What's not to love about this park?! It has covered picnic tables, a splash pad, frisbee golf, walking trails, baby swings with adult swings attached to them, standalone baby swings, standard swings, and lots of jungle gym play space. Easily one of my favorite parks in the area. Update: we still love this park. My kids enjoy the creek that runs through the woods, and they played in the little rock creek that runs under the foot bridge last time. It's not very shady where the party equipment is, but the splash pad makes it easy to cool off. The last time we were there, an adult man was smoking weed near the playground even though he didn't have any kids with him. It was a little odd, but he just kept to himself. This is the first time that has happened, though. Usually, people utilizing the park benches have kids playing on the playground.
I really enjoyed walking in the nature area behind the park! It was so calm and peaceful, great view in the fall!! SPECTACULAR! Can't really speak for the play area because I don't have children but secluded parks with a huge field/trail area is fantastic
Nice park. We walked the path a few times, played kick ball, and Bar-B-Q'd. It wasn't enough room with one shelter house. Water area was great for the kiddos. It's next to the shelter house to keep an eye on them.
Cute little park with 2 playgrounds, one for little kids and one for older kids. It also has a pavilion with 2 picnic tables, bathrooms, and a steep hill that kids can go down. The reason for 4 stars is that there is no shade besides the pavilion. There were only a few other families when we went on a nice day, so it wasn't crowded.
