Howell funeral home did a fantastic job with our beloved pet that we had for 13 years and the lady who talked to us and showed us the urn’s and did the paperwork was the sweetest lady we have ever met and she also sent us a nice card in the mail. Howell funeral home is highly recommend for any reason pets or human funeral. Thank you so much for everything you did for us.
My mother had a preened plan at Howell Funeral Home around 20 years ago. They honored the entire policy,no surprises. They are a very passionate and caring company. They treated us like family. This past Friday, I had to help my YooHoo cross the rainbow bridge, when I arrived one of the staff members, a young gentleman, met me in the parking lot. He carefully took my baby from my arms. I received a call that YooHoo would be ready this morning at 9:30 am. Even while the staff was trying to prepare for a service, this same young gentleman took the time to make me feel just as special. They went above and beyond from making sure I got the compassion and closure I needed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Howell Funeral took care of my father in law 15 years ago, my mother in law this past January, and my brother in law just yesterday. They are a top notch funeral service. Each time they did a superb job. They do things the way things should be done. I wish more businesses operated like they do.

In 2011 my grandmother passed away. Her pre-need coverage had lapsed, and my mother was tight on funds as she had taken off a lot of time with my grandmother as she was ill and passing. Howells stepped up the plate and worked to make sure that my grandmother was taken care of and worked diligently and closely with my mom to make sure her emotional needs were met in such a stressful time. In 2017, 3years after my son suffered a TBI, I decided that setting things up for his passing in advance would be the most helpful thing. I drove from Raleigh, NC to Howell's and planned everything out with them, they helped set us up with Great Western Funeral Insurance so we could make monthly payments and not have to worry. At that point there wasn't a life insurance company in the world we could afford because of his TBI. On 10/27/2021, my son passed away. Howell's has been so kind and thoughtful through out the process of this. They have gone above and beyond what they needed to do to make sure that my son is remembered in a way that makes our hearts feel closer to peace. Death is a trying time for any family, the grief is for the living. Howell's will always be a solid and wonderful choice to help anyone going through one of the most difficult and painful times in their life. We cannot thank them enough.
Mr Howell honored our loved one with the utmost dignity and respect the day of her burial. He went beyond expectations and knew exactly what to say to encompass her life and her meaning to people that knew her. We are so grateful to have used Howell Funeral Home.
