There’s something for every style and budget. They also have many financing options available. In addition to furniture, they also have a mattress gallery with top name brand mattresses and will give you a free rest test to help find the perfect mattress for your needs. They also have fresh baked cookies and coffee to help fuel your shopping experience. High quality furniture is HEAVY so spring for the white glove delivery – it's worth it!You don't want to risk injuring yourself, your vehicle, your furniture, or your home. Highly recommend for quality products that will last for decades and exceptional service!
Such excellent customer service. From the time we walked into the store, Ted greeted us and was a no pressure but informative associate. Every question we had, he had an answer or he went and got the answer. He was so knowledgeable about couches, recliners, mattresses....anything we looked at, he helped us with. He not only helped us with furniture but he also got to know us and was a wealth of information. He was so pleasant to deal with that after we left it was our very first stop in all of Beaumont to look at furnitureboth my husband and I said, he just is so pleasant to deal with you want to buy it all from him. I've never had such good service. He never lingered as in following trying to get you to buy. He would let us wander, and once in a while, check on us. He was so laid back and easy to talk to. We plan to return tomorrow to buy 5 pieces from him because even though we found other furniture other places, the quality and service didn't come close to the service we had with Ted and Howell furniture.
Our trips to Howell Furniture in Beaumont were fantastic! Not only was our purchase delivered quickly and professionally, but our salesperson Trudy was so nice and even arranged to pick up part of the order and we chose a couple of other pieces to replace them. She was wonderful, and I can only give a glowing review! Thank you, Trudy!!
We had a great experience while mattress shopping. My 5 year old got to try out different mattresses for comfort and had fun while doing it. Danice was very helpful and knowledgeable and made the whole process very easy for us.
Courtney could not have been more helpful. We found the perfect recliner for our needs! It was delivered very soon and the men who delivered it were courteous and so careful. It couldn’t have been a better experience!
Jen Costa is a fabulous sales rep who is very outgoing & friendly! We enjoyed working with her to find the perfect pair of beautiful recliners for my mom. Everyone who helped complete the sale was friendly & kind as well-Thank you Howell Furniture!!
I purchased a nice leather FlexSteel Chair with a 5 yr warranty. After 13 months a sweaty head took the color off the leather . They said the warranty covered it but Howells service dept. would only service for the first 12 months. I would now have contact another warranty company for the final 4yrs. I did and we ordered the needed part. They said it would be 12 - 14 weeks to arrive. 6 months later it arrives at Howell's and they ship it to me a month later and tell me to contact Warranty Co. #2 to get someone to install the part. Warranty Co. #2 tells me I have to call another installation co. and arrange an appointment for a tech to come out. Hey, this all WRONG!!! Why do I have to do all the leg work? Finally I get Howell's service mgr. to call Warranty Co. #2. We finally get a tech scheduled to come out 10 months after filling the claim. Today he was supposed to be here and I get a text saying he was sick and would have to reschedule in another 30 days. 11 MONTHS and sill not repaired, some warranty. I was told that I was not the only one having problems with Warranty Co. #2. Also, they say they will match or beat, if you can find a lower price on a piece of furniture. There is a lot of unspoken if's and but's to this statement. It has to be in Texas and within a certain distance, ect, ect. There were a couple of other things. I even found an add on line posted by Howell’s, advertising the exact same chair I had bought for $500 less than what I paid. I took a picture of the advertisement and emailed to Howell’s. I ask if they would honor their own advertisement of a lower price? They said “Well huh, well huh, I don’t know. There’s must be some mistake.” Needless to say, they did not. If I had not wanted this particular chair so badly and could not find one in Texas there was a 8 month wait on a new one ordered, I would have told them to stick it in their ear. “ THE WARRANTY is PRETTY WORTHLESS ” After all this, I got to say, I really like my chair.
Sad to rate low but we have spent a ton of money with them and three different times it has arrived damaged. A couch with a hole, a damaged dresser, and a damaged chest. They have replaced the items but they do not make it easy to do so with such big items. We had to wait several months for a new chest to be built and they expect us to either haul it back and pick up the new one or pay $200 to have it exchanged at our home. When they damaged the item in the first place. It came in a huge box so there was no way to know until it was home and unpackaged. They were not willing to do it for free or compromise. Sadly we won’t be doing business there in the future.
Jennifer Burke was just phenomenal in working with us. We could tell that she just really knew what she was talking about and her customer service was beyond anything we’ve experienced. We were able to tell Jennifer exactly what we wanted and she made it happen! We are definitely so happy that we decided to take our business to Howell in Beaumont. They had such a great selection and we’ll definitely be going back for any future furnishings!
Every piece of furniture we have purchased from Howell is absolutely gorgeous and so well made! Our home recently flooded, and we were tasked with finding new furniture. We were lucky enough to be greeted by Courtney, and she helped us every step of the way! She is so incredibly kind and has SUCH a great eye for design!! We highly recommend her to everyone we know who is looking for new furniture and considering Howell!
