Hoy's unique history began when it opened in 1939. John Mahler purchased the business in 1971, and since then the store has moved locations and grown from 2,500 square feet to 16,000 square feet. General Manager Greg Mahler states that the store often surprises customers with its selection, which includes yarn, health and beauty products, notions and housewares. The clean, well-lit store creates a positive work environment and all employees have clearly defined goals that include engaging every customer who walks into the store.
